Yeah, good result fair play.

No bad result but a good display , do you remember what that is , you can take positives from a defeat sometimes , we'll you can't but you know what I mean

I guess you've had plenty of opportunity to take positives then this season, not so different from us

When was the last time you took a positive from a game !?

A rare clean sheet against villa probably. But then it was worth more than a galant loss in my mind

Not many at the moment for sure, other than the likes or Marshall, daehli and Cala. Individually good but of course it's about the team and we are a shambles.

What are you hoping for now ? tan gone ( if that's possible with the money he's spent) relegation and start again next season or tits up and tumble down the league's but with your identity restored

I'm personally hoping for it to come out that Swansea are running a highly illegal financing scheme that causes the FA to dock you 15 points so we can have some company in the championship next season :ayatollah:

Sont these redbirds see how stupid they look.
Last game with ml in charge was whu were we did t even get a shot on target (a bit lime your season realy)
And today we lost 4-3 away to one of the best sides in the uk and more importantly we out played them.
Yes we lost but playing well and pushing a team like Liverpool to the end will be a confidence booster.
Surley carsiff fans can see the diffrence .

Believe it or not I'm ok with Tan staying as I've never been too interested in the politics of a football club. I'm also comfortable with relegation as I've never been too bothered with the glory of the PL as to me it's all about the big clubs and the money aspect is obscene.

BUT I think if Tan has any sense he will recognise the nonsense of the red and turn us back to blue. Truth be known the red was only ever a personal preference and nothing to do with commercial opportunities.

I also believe that if Tan doesn't make the right call then when he has gone we will go back to blue. For this to happen sooner rather than later we need to be an attractive proposition for someone to take on, so for me I'm happy to put up with the red if it means we stay as high up as we can in the structure.

I'd be there if we ended up back in the dungeon but I think we can get a satisfactory ending for most fans without all the years of turmoil and if Tan does leave I wouldn't dismiss liquidation as being a very real threat.

A loss is a loss. No points. We have had a few gallant defeats this season. Yesterday's horror show not included. Not many teams will get anything out of a game where they concede four goals.

The worst way to lose a game is in injury time, like Everton and QPR yesterday.

But, 4-0, 4-3, 1-0, ourselves, Swansea, Everton and QPR got no points this weekend. That's the only statistic that counts.

Thats not true.

The fact we scored 3 in reply means we have only lost -1 goal in the GD. The fact you lost 4-0 means you lost -4 on your GD.

We gained 3 goals on you and cemented that "extra point" making us realistically 7 points ahead of you - which is 3 games worth of points you need to gain on us

Take your point, but I gave up on our goal difference long ago! Generally speaking, a side that goes down, or up, on goal difference deserves to do so. Only Fulham have a worse goal difference than us, or at least they did last time I checked. I was referring simply to actual points. Doubt if anybody leaving a game, having lost, works out the overall goal difference! In that sense, losing is losing. I felt worse losing at home to Tottenham in injury time, than to Southampton, 3-0 HT. Or away to Arsenal, late on, was worse than being 3-0 down at HT at Anfield. Both were gallant defeats, by the way!

Really? Goal difference is massive in such a tight league, whenever we play the big guns I always hope that if we lose then it is not by too much for GD. Or if we go 2-0 down I am always wary of it being more for GD.

The fact we have such a better GD than you it means you need a 3 game swing over us rather than a 2 game swing. Thats quite vital with only 10-11 games left, it means you and Fulham are going to have to do 10% more in order to overtake us. A 4-0 defeat to liverpool would drag our GD back especially if confidence took a dive as a result of a battering.

There is so many positives to take over a 4-3 away defeat to Liverpool.

A shed load of positives going into the Napoli game! Unlike a lot of Jacks, I would hate for you to go down! But you have been let down with an absolute egomaniac for a chairman, the crazy transfer policy of Malky and the inexperience of OGS. So that alone going against you , made sure you didn't have much chance of staying up.

I dont want them to go down either, although i can definately see the benefits of being the only premier league team in 100 odd miles.

But i dont buy the fact that they are in this predicament because of Tan. You have missed out the vital part that allowed Tan into power - the fans. They allowed this to happen and are now complaining and looking for blame when it has.
