Coleman didn't sound as confident as us, if we have a chance to qualify if ever. It be this tournament!

Declan John can really make a name for himself in these games. I know Davies is good, but I can see John becoming a much better player. Just got the feeling Coleman will pick the worst possible back four, involving Ricketts.

My team would be:
................Hennessey
Matthews...Collins...Williams...John
..............Allen.....Ledley
Bale.............Ramsey.........Kanu
....................Vokes

Nice that we've got players like Jonny Williams, Collison, Church and Vaughan to rotate with as well

Myhill over Hennessey?.

Vaughan?!?!?.

Declan John is better than Neil Taylor.

Church isn't good enough.

Johnny Williams is better than KANU.

Collins is gash.

I think this would be our strongest team . With a desperate lack of wingers in the squad I think Declan John could sit on the left quite comfortably , he's quick loves going passed people and can put in a decent cross . He would also be able to help out defensively . Could be a solid partnership on the left with him and Davies :ayatollah:

Dec was originally a left midfielder so that's a good shout.

Absolutely.

Vaughan is a better footballer than a lot of our midfielders.

Vokes ahead of Church then.

Declan John is nowhere near Neil Taylor's level. He doesn't start for us ffs, is suspect defensively, and has minimal experience. No chance should he start ahead of Taylor.

Johnny Williams can rotate at CM.

Who would you play ahead of Collins? :?

Completely agree with that team except for the fact that I would play Williams out wide and Ledley in the centre. That team should be more than capable of getting 3rd and pushing on for a 2nd place finish.

Draw looks good, would have been 10 times better without Belgium, but that the way it is.
Can't wait for the fixtures later to see what away trips I can do

I think we should give Tom Lawrence ago upfront, or play Sam Vokes who is probably better than Church.

I think there are better options than Vaughan in CDM personally such as playing Ramsey in that role and Jon Williams higher.

On the bench we could Harry Wilson as impact sub.

Think that they have played some of their bigger games in Spain. Seem to remember England playing them in Barcelona, at Espanyol's ground.

Got to sign up for a membership via FAW (1876 Wales Supporters club). Usually £25 I think not to sure.

Chris Coleman believes 'golden generation' can lead Wales to Euro 2016

CHRIS COLEMAN has challenged star men Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey to prove they are part of a ‘golden generation’ by leading Wales to the Euro 2016 finals.

Wales were put in Group B alongside Bonsia-Herzegovina, Belgium, Israel, Cyprus and Andorra when the qualifying draw was made on Sunday.

The Dragons have not reached a major tournament since the 1958 World Cup in Sweden. But the expansion of the Euro finals from 16 to 24 teams has boosted the chances of Real Madrid’s £86million man Bale and Arsenal playmaker Ramsey appearing in France.

Coleman feels it is an opportunity they must take to secure their legacy.

“Everyone goes on about the current generation of players, this ‘golden generation’. It’s nonsense,” said the Wales boss. “It will be the ‘golden generation’ when we qualify. Until we do that they’re not.

“It’s another added pressure on Gareth Bale, the most expensive player in the world, and Aaron Ramsey.

“Yes, they are great players, we know that, and we’ve got other good players, but this will only be the ‘golden generation’ when we’re successful and we qualify.”

Coleman was speaking as he unveiled his 23-man squad for the friendly against Iceland in Cardiff a week on Wednesday.
