I think (although not sure it was ever confirmed) that monies from Sullivan were rumoured to have been 'loaned' to the club when we were in dire straits at one time, which shows the former Penarth resident cared/cares for the club

Was always David. Rumours every now and then when he was at Birmingham. Clive was merely the front man for the League as David couldn't own two clubs.

It was Clive Sven and if you remember he was actually presented on the pitch before a game. They did invest a sum of money because they thought that they had agreed a deal with kumar but he moved the goalposts at the last minute along with bob Phillips and the opportunity was gone.
David Sullivan disliked kumar because he took Birmingham over from him and his brother and to quote dave Sullivan. Carrier bags full of bills were still falling out of cupboards two years after the takeover.
Kumar and Phillips tried to get extra monies above the agreed amount at the last minute and Sullivan walked away.
