So if Daya knows, you know, more posters know - then its hardly a secret is it. :D

Like I said, if you knew - then you would say. There is no reason not to. Its ludicrous. Simple as that.

Tan has already said himself that he's not going to throw money at the club.

No, he said he wouldn't give Malky a penny to spend in January. It was obvious that a new manager would have money to spend.

He only changed his mind on the colour when some fans convinced him to stay for the in vestment, sadly.

Why would he have meetings with Fergie a number of times over the last few months and that is after ole become our manager

Absolutely do, in fact I'm almost certain he would.

It is ALL about the money. So far everything he has put in has been secured. He has reached his limit of investment now as the clubs assets cannot cover over £100m.

Im a very successful businessman myself on a smaller scale. However the principles are exactly the same.

Relegation will give Tan an obvious out, if he doesnt take it then I would be absolutely amazed. The alternative makes no sense what so ever.

you dont mention liquidation.........but the obvious out can only really mean liquidation of assets ?

Completely different things. Liquidation and selling assets are not the same thing.

How else is he going to get his money back? Fairy dust?

Its business, its not difficult folks. Think about it.

Im asking you what you are suggesting "the plan" is. YOU created the thread remember, so lets discuss it. What have you been told?

I have already told you what is the good business move. However you seem to disagree, im just waiting for you to tell me the alternative..... S0 far, in response, all you have said is "other people know" :?

Malky was the manager at the time the comment was made, so I think it was pretty obvious that he meant Malky, when he said the manager would get no funds in January. :laughing5:

The statement was in response to Malky saying he needs money on January.

lol...oh Donald Trump enters the fray............he did not mention Malky..look it up.
some thought he meant no money
others read more into it and chucked a bundle of cash on MM being sacked.
but it was individual interpretations. NOT that Tan had mentioned Malky
the email was sent 2 days later..was leaked 3 days after that.

Malky Mackay was manager of Cardiff City when the statement was made about the manager not getting a transfer budget in January.

It's therefore safe to assume, that Tan was aiming that statement at Mackay, seeing as he was the only manager CCFC had at the time.

The statement was even aimed at Mackay, after Mackay came out and said he wanted three players.

PS - I've not written any Tan quotes. :? :D

Re: Tan is going nowhere if we stay up or go down

Why on earth are people listening to a man who lied about being a Cardiff fan for months on end on a football message board as though he 'knows' anything?

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/18445138

Tan was 75million in the hole before he started the rebrand, he could have asset stripped us then if he wanted his money back, but let's face it he wasn't going to get anything like that back then, never mind now.

It's likely OGS was given some assurances about the future that he liked, otherwise he wouldn't have come, he didn't go to Blackburn because of their owners. The club is in a better position financially than it has been (note: this doesn't make it a good position, just that income streams are better than they have been (eg parachute payments)). Tan and Lim have already started blaming this season on Malky not exactly the sounds they'd be making if they were about to ship out. They probably wouldn't be adding a tier to the stadium either

My feeling is that Tan is a driven man who wants the club to succeed and will continue in the same vein he has thus far. Hell the last time Cardiff failed to achieve something he rebranded the club. That's probably the biggest (and most haunting) clue that of what's to come.

Do I know any of this? f**k no, but it's worth the same amount as a man who lied about being a Cardiff fan for months on end who thinks now is the time VT will asset strip because.. Business!

Jesus

In the championship you didnt have £40m worth of playing assets, you didnt have £20m of parachute payments and didnt have a share value of £20m... What assets did you have to strip?!

Of all the ridiculous ripostes on here, that one takes the absolute biscuit :D

As for "lying" about being a cardiff fan... I was only allowed an opinion if it came from a "Cardiff fan", i tried to post as a jack and was banned - hence canton magic was born

£40million of playing assets
Jesus I retract my statement you must be a Cardiff fan if you think the squads worth that much and buyers could actually be found. Relegated clubs don't exactly have the strong hand in negotiation with FFP, wages and players actively wanting to leave. Julio Cesar took how long to get a move? and it was a loan, same for Taarabt, Remy and Park

Even if that was the case you just labeled far less than Tans investment by a long, long shot if he asset striped. Which despite you wanting proof from everyone else you have no proof he would do. At least I had the decency to state my opinion is worth no more than yours. No one actually knows what Tan will do.

Also many Jacks have come here openly as Jacks and are fine. To come here and be a liar, then justify being a liar is some twisted logic on your behalf. Enjoy the thread, I'm sure someone else will reply to you but you seldom add anything after an initial opinion. So I'm not going to bother, chow :thumbright:

Can't answer then? :laughing6: Tan's statement clearly said the manager wouldn't get a penny to spend in January, at the time of the statement, the manager was Malcolm Mackay.

Therefore, it is pretty safe to assume that the statement was aimed at him. If it wasn't, who was it aimed at? I'm all ears.
