It seems everyone is happy to say how unhappy they are about the rebrand on here - but do absolutely nothing about it when and where it matters and would rather walk away without a fight.

Thanks Roathie, you ain't a bad lad after all the hyperbole, or in leyman's terms bollocks i've read on here ;)

yeah I have felt more connection to the club lately as I am new to the forum, before I just tried to forget what happened I guess and just watched 11 blokes in red tops kicking a ball about on the internet  I think I probably seen Cardiff around 50 - 70 times at Ninian, and once at the CCS. A few away games thrown in too :)

Yeah dont listen to the rubbish on here. People just dont like others that say it how it is.

If all got together to fight Tan then you would win, no doubt in my mind what so ever. A business without customers and worldwide embarrassment of weekly protests is not worth having.

1. Fans divided and turning on each other, constant sniping.
2. Politics in and around club with fans, shareholders etc.
3. Fans turning on players;players shouting to the fans they are wankers.
4. Media circus around stupid club statements etc.

Will not be renewing next year and will not miss it. What was meant to be our glorious season has been dire for all the above reasons.

Going back to running pub league football team next year.

Good idea. I wish that everyone else who hates it so much would go away and stop moaning at t he rest of us who are enjoying the ride. At least you are showing the courage to walk away and do something worthwhile.

The only division is on messageboards. On a matchday there is no division.

Id suggest staying away from messageboards, it makes football so much easier to enjoy.

What is the worst that can happen? Surely you would rather support the blue bluebirds in league 2 starting again than just quitting?

I just cant fathom it. Tan has got a free ride, everyone just accepts it or walks away it seems, nobody willing to fight for the club.

Weve tried and tried on 7 different occasions, the truth is there is not enough of us. Years ago we would of succeeded, now if 1,000 or 2,000 protest which is what has happened it looks nothing when we get 27,000/28,000 crowds.
The Truth is most dont care about our identity and Dictator Tan, when all goes tits up, they will just vanish and go back to watching Prem football on Tv.
Ive not given up and I will keep trying to get our identity back.

I think you should drum up interest on here. A lot of the newer fans will want to follow the crowd and will be easily led, even if on first inspection you wouldnt think so with their red shirts.... But a lot of new fans harbour the insecurity of wanting to be seen as "a longterm supporter" so will naturally want to adopt the mentality of one and thus side with you in a protest.

You have a lot of respect from a lot of people Annis. 13,000 users (although admittedly 1300 are probably me :D ) and many lurkers who dont post or sign up. I think you can use this website to great effect. Even if you can get 3,000 or 4,000 inside the stadium to protest and let Tan know it is not acceptable it WILL filter through to the rest, that I can assure you.

You should also use the exposure of the Premier League while you still can. The media would be all over it as the subject of foreign ownership is at the forefront. They could be an invaluable ally in all this and worth 5,000 fans on their own. They can embarrass Tan.

I know there have been lots of "attempts", but from the outside they do seem quite poorly organised, a bit wishy washy and lacking any sort of conviction. I was actually there in the flesh when you were protesting against Ridsdale and it was a superb show of fan solidarity. We have seen nothing like that for Tan what so ever.

Great thread and all the reasons given above sum up why me and the Mrs are not renewing! Just don't enjoy the experience any more - seen City go from 4th Div to the Prem - but with the comments from Tan, Sam and Lim it makes me realise that walking away is not a difficult decision to make anymore!! Roathy to be fair - makes an excellent point - but I no longer care to fight for the circus. Will go to the odd game - what ever division we end up in - but on my terms - not the clubs - feels quite liberating too!! Like coming out of a long term dead relationship    See Ya :ayatollah:

I'm starting to feel the same way, but I'm not ready to walk. Can understand where your coming from mate the soul has, the loyalty and the passion :(

I feel the same Nobby but I just aint ready to walk yet. The protests against Tan at Liverpool was great and we had massive TV exposure. Then it died a death the next game. We as supporters do not deserve our identity back and thats the truth.

I agree Annis , far more important to me than staying up. This is just an embarrassing pantomime and the sooner it is over the better.
