I know many loyal fans who's heart isn't in it anymore since the rebrand, me included. I still turn up and support the team and so do they but many of them are considering not renewing there season ticket next season premiership or not.

So the players aren't assets are they Craig? Are you mad? Caulker, Medel, etc. That's £15m there. Declan John, another £2-3m as he's young and British. Then the rest of our players. Any way Tan can recoup money he will. Players are assets to the business just like anything else.

Your city is more rugby then football.
Your fan base are nothing more then mute glory hunters.
The support u give your team is awfull.
Glad u are starting to see that u are nothing more then average club and fan base.
And to think not so long back there was a debate on whether cardiff should have a 60k stadium.

So you think he'll keep adding to the debt? I personally think he'll leave but if he does stay and we stay red I am not going to go back.

We will have parachute payments that are tied to the club, he wont invest more and just run the club off that......I think he will finance us up again, all ifs and buts though

I have not gone since the rebrand and know a few top lads who also stopped going because of it. But I have noticed that it has had a bit of a domino effect, with a few others dropping out.

Plus like gypo cunts down west, we picked up a lot of glory hunters last couple of year and this is fine, but 2 problems... new to the game glory hunters wont stay loyal and only want success, plus as I have said before I personally know lots of man utd, liverpool, everton fans that go to watch long standing premier teams fact.

now this has had an effect on the atmosphere in my opinion driving even more fans away.

the issue also that we are not playing very well so there is no excitement to the game.

where the likes of Crystal palace, west ham etc have had a lot more success over the years so held onto more loyal support.

We need to have a few good years in the Premier as a mid table side at least then we will turn glory hunters and fans who go to see other prem teams into loyal City supporters

I think your right, Tan will stay just like Fernandez has at QPR. Fernandez has a long term plan building a new stadium for QPR, tan is not going to just fuk off straight after increasing the stadium, any idiot can see that. The difference between us and QPR is that we will have a good team on modest wages, whereas QPR has players on stupid wages. The have players like Barton, Doyle, Johnson, Austin, Hoilett, Simpson, Henry, wright Phillips and so on all on big pay packets. We will sell Medel and the deadwood IMO.

My last game was Scarfgate when everybody took the free red scarves and Tan clearly saw that as approval. A beautiful sea of red it was to him. I bet he went home and let himself go at the mere thought of it. Whether the scarves were free or not doesn't matter....if someones giving out free LSD outside the stadium some will take it, others won't because they have a different moral compass - people should have, based on their morals and principles turned the scarves down - instead they lapped them up and bought into Tan's vision.

You bought into tans vision by attending games

I moved to London 3 years ago and it's killing me not being able to watch City! So I find it very annoying that people are not going because they 'can't be arsed'. I'm coming back to Wales for a few days next week and considering I've not seen my family for a while, my first stop is the Cardiff City Stadium to watch the Wigan match. And I'm moving back for good in the summer and will be getting a season ticket again no matter what league we're in! Supporter for life, not just a season! :ayatollah:

Annis, NOW is the time we will see the true fans come to the fore (as was the case when we were REALLY shit back in the day!)

That's not to 'knock' those who are too young to have seen it (I often wish I hadn't :laughing6: ) but if they think things are dark now then they need to think again! ;)

Cardiff City FC came in to the Premier League with no real aim other than survival. We are STILL in there and not relying on others at the moment, so FFS people, get down there and cheer your team and its players (even if they go a goal down) and let them know you care! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I don't think you where wrong about our fan base Annis but I do think if the people who are selling their tickets feel anything like me then let them be. I feel totally worn out with cardiff this week, it wouldn't matter if we were playing Chelsea tonight I feel like a night off from the bickering, atmosphere, poor performances and results! This is only MO but I'm sure people will disagree as always.

Annis, I sat across the way from you for many years on the bob bank, I sat alongside you in Block B while you were in Block A, I've done countless league and non league grounds away, I was there for City's lowest ever home league crowd (along with the other 20,000, who now claim to have been there too), I WAS ONCE PROUD OF MY RECORD of missing two home games in ten or more years, but now find myself drained of all my love for the club !
Tonight yet again I will be giving it a miss and yes, we dreamed of the Premier League when we were in the dungeon, to be honest I enjoyed them days more !

Ive read all these posts and its sad to read and I can understand, this club is broken, divided and has now got many glory hunters who will desert in there thousands when th going gets tough, last night showed with all the empt seats.
