What if Ledley scores and doesn't celebrate? Will you all be clapping him then?

The same as Jerome and Gabbidon. Will give them respect before and after but during they will be just another opposition.

Obviously weren't at the game vs Birmigham at Ninian Park, where Jerome got a fair bit of stick. :laughing6:

I was in the grange end as it goes. I also think you'll find Birmingham were in the premiership when we sold him. Yes they looked like they would get relegated but can you really blame him for wanting to play premiership football? scored a lot of goals for us.

No they weren't in the premiership, they had been relegated when they bought him and were in the championship.

Where have I said anything about him though, apart from the fact that he got a bit of stick. :laughing6:

Ok I stand corrected. They were looking like they were getting promoted and were that season. Still think he was a decent player for us. Also that transfer allowed us to bring in mcphail and chopra.

I don't know why anyone would clap Ledley. We spent a small fortune on him to have his hip operation and then he allowed his contract to run out. Should have accepted the 6 million offer from Stoke.

:sleepy2: :sleepy2: :sleepy2: club took a gamble on him staying and helping us get promoted. Gamble worth taking in my mind. He then left to play further his career and more money.. Just like any other human being does. :thumbright:

Exactly, Ledley showed no loyalty to us by leaving for more money at the first opportunity he got, so why should we applaud him? Thanks for proving my point.

So, if you were offered the opportunity to treble your currently salary and have a better job, you'd say no thanks?! :laughing6:

Had he stayed with Cardiff, people would accuse him of having no ambition. :?

Ledley had no ambition moving to Celtic to play in an inferior league with inferior players. I think he put his career on hold doing so. Players like Joe Allen stayed with Swansea playing in higher standard Championship and Premiership leagues to continue improving. Ledley is no better now than he was when he left us. He's not even a regular started for Wales anymore. I understand Ledley joining Celtic for a bigger salary and he was one of our better players when he was with us, but to me he's no different to any other player. Ledley doesn't care about Cardiff, so why should I applaud him?

At Celtic he's been able to play in the Champions League & beat Barcelona, how the hell is that no furthering his career?! :laughing6:

Ledley DOES care about Cardiff, I can assure you that. Why should you applaud? Well, you don't have to... But I will be applauding before the game as he was a great servant to this club. :thumbright:

So Ledley had a few cup games against superior opposition with Celtic, big deal. No different to us having our cup run in the Championship playing Liverpool in the final. The majority of Ledley's Celtic career was playing the likes of Inverness, Ross County and other SPL teams who are nowhere near Championship standard, which isn't furthering your career at all. I applauded Ramsey because he's a Caerphilly boy and a Cardiff fan through and through. I understood Ramsey signing for Arsenal as his transfer fee financially helped our club. Ramsey was a top quality player for us and moving to a superior team in a superior league has allowed him to continually improve his game and he is now one of the best centre midfielders in the Premiership.

If Ledley cared about Cardiff like you say, he would have signed a contract extension, where he would have had an increase on his salary anyway, and kept trying to help get us to the Premiership. Ledley doesn't care about us, he isn't even a Cardiff fan. He's a Liverpool fan who financially shafted our club when we were close to getting wound up, so I won't be applauding him.

The fact that you've just compared beating Barcelona in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to losing to Liverpool in the Carling Cup says it all. :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5:

Ledley is a Cardiff fan through and through. I can tell you now that's a total FACT. Shafted our club? You talk some of the biggest nonsense on here.

Had he left to go somewhere else, you'd accuse him of no loyalty.. He stays to get Cardiff promoted & he still has non loyalty.

Ledley is a Liverpool fan, that's a total fact. Your last sentence makes absolutely no sense whatsoever I'm afraid. I can't really debate any further as I have no idea what you're saying. Have a good day.

He will get the same reception as Ramsey got from me, a clap when his name is called out and then after that I hope he has an absolute stinker ! Applauding a goal scored against your team is ludicrous. couldn't believe what I was seeing.

People have different opinions on Joe but I like him he gave me plenty of good memories and always gave 100%, it was an added bonus that he was a proper Cardiff boy aswell.

I won't be applauding any Palace players. We're in a relegation battle. No time for sentiment toward past players. They've moved on, so should we.

I'm with you on this. The guy did score the goal that got us to an FA Cup final which is one of my finest moments watching City.

And I too certainly wouldn't applaud him scoring against us. I'd be absolutely gutted as I am when any fecker has the audacity to do so against the mighty Bluebirds.

The singing by some city fans of "theres only one aaron ramsey" after he just scored his second and put arsenal 3up against us will rank as the lowest point if the seasin for me, and there have been some low points
