Exactly.

We were outside the relegation zone but somehow some fans got it into their heads that our best manager in years was taking us down because they didnt enjoy the football he was playing. Laughable.

Same as some who reckon Malky would have kept us up

Not at all.

Could only judge on the league position when he left.

Malky had 17 games. Ole has had 6

Malky better than Dave Jones? Do me a f*cking favour, are you aware how much we spent this season? Do you even take that into account?

I'd take Jones back. He made some brilliant signings on a shoestring budget, kept us battling up there whilst having to offload talents. The only reason he got sacked was media hysteria and his stubbornness. Had he been in Malky's position in the summer to spend he'd have bought the right players and we'd be mid table now.

Malky blew money in the wind on too few players. We lack depth and its still mostly a Championship squad.

Malky was doing ok but hadn't faced Arsenal , man city , man utd away so i believe he would not have got us any more points than Ole..
Swansea would have battered us with shots under malky who would have parked the bus and no doubt won and they battered us under ole who tried his tactics but failed today..

Someone further up the thread said Malky was the best manager we had had in years, asbolute bollocks, Gary f*cking Megson would have got us promoted last season. Malky played the fans and you all lapped it up with your don't sack Mackay bollocks.

PS, Where's the riot?

Spot on. Time you became a frigging mod on here to restore some common sense and order. You're supposed to be some sort of parody/troll account yet you talk more sense than the likes of Brownie who's actually being himself. Its frightening.

Anyone would have gotten us promoted to the Premier League, I've heard it all now.

Malky spent £12m FFS to take us up and the players he signed were on daft wages and bonuses in principle.

What's your point?

Promotion was worth hundreds of millions.

Would you have rathered he spent less and kept the revenue we get from the Championship?

Malky got us promoted, and we were outside the relegation zone when he was sacked. The facts speak for themslves. End of story.

you can't play Noone with Fabio because neither can defend, looks like super Kev might get a run of games after today.

What the **** are you on Scott? Malky had £12m at his disposal. That was significantly more than any other Championship manager in the CL apart from the manager at Leicester... who were in disarray at the time. It was also a weak Championship - no Reading, no QPR, no West Ham, etc.

So how come Hull and more notably Crystal Palace who only got promoted via sneaking into the play offs last minute manage to do so well this season without spending the massive amount of cash we spent?

Hmmmmm

He still had to get us promoted, which is never a given, which is what he did.

Answer me this, what more could he have done?

If he was given the money to spend, why shoulnd't he spend it, if he'd spent it and we'd still failed to get promotion then i'd understand the criticism but were in the Premier League because of him.

What more could he have done?
