Probably bad for us. Alan Curtis is a top football man. Played for both clubs, but is a Swansea legend. Monk, too, knows their club. Laudrup is just a journeyman. They'll be up for it this time. No reason for us to fear them, but we'll have more of a game on our hands. :ayatollah: :ole:

Plenty of reason to fear us! Monks and Curt will have the boys buzzing for Saturday! This has changed the whole dynamic. It'll be back to the usual football and we're going to rip you a new one. This couldn't have come at a worse time for you. Liberty is going to be bouncing when the scum come to town

My comment was on our board, for our own supporters. I said no reason to fear Swansea, but that we will have a game on our hands. That implies a certain respect, to your club, and especially to Alan Curtis and Garry Monk.

The best you can manage is to call me scum in reply. Is that the best you can manage?

This is awesome news for us! :ole: :ole: :ole:

Any disruption before a game is bad news for any team.
Losing the manager who brought most of the sqad to the club is massive disruption.
We will be fine IMHO.
Come on City!!!

Im also gutted Jonjo Shitty is'nt playing, a red card was a certainty if Medel and a few others were smart enough, but he's not playing sadly

"Smart enough" ?????

Is that scum-speak for doing exactly what you lot have criticised Chico for?

When Jenkins announced at the press conference yesterday that Laudrup was not leaving, and with Laudrup in Paris, it was obvious he was gone. Classic chairman twaddle. It could boost them or it could unsettle them further. But you know what? The last thing I would think of is going onto their forum and spouting the parochial backwards backwater-hick bollocks that theIr Obsessed freaks post on here. Freaks.

I really hope I am wrong.

Gary Monk detests us and is very very passionate Jack, they might all be fired up for this now more than ever. Normally when a manager goes a new one gets a win, there is big plus side, he might be a crap manager

the gypo's loved the fact we were considered a hoofball team, and they were the self-styled swansealona......if we stay up this year...Ole's brand of football will be more exciting than failed attempts at tiki-taka

To answer your question, it will be a Manager in the same mould, Malky is waiting for a Championship club

Re: ' Michael Laudrup is Sacked and '

Could go the other way too. A lot of the foreign contingent only went to Swansea to play for laudrup, be interesting to see the team moral now that there is no common bond in laudrup.

In derbies the form book goes out of the window,it's all down to who wants it most,I can't see the Spanish players at the jacks having much fight in them after laudrup being sack

This has been on the cards for not just weeks but months and for me this is another example of the Spew pushing the limits on the rules and regulations for top flight clubs.

Clubs can only employ a coach who does'nt hold the UEFA Pro Licence for a maximum of 12 weeks and as Monk is currently doing his A Licence, he can take them to pretty much the end of the season.

It's well known that ML and the Spew haven't been talking since the summer so why wait until now to get rid.

Hmmm.

Gary monk the jacks equivalent of David moyes. Wonder if huw will be picking the team Saturday and playing his latest signings.if signing emnes was the height of huws ambition laudrup was probably happy to go

shouldn't even need a manager to be up for this one, will be down to who wants it more. :ole:

personally think this to be a good thing for us , laudrup just going through the motions at the moment and i think he might have been wanting this to happen
as for your comments on coming to the liberty on saturday you're second bottom and won one game in your last 6 ffs you could swear you were champion contenders was confident we'd do you anyway , even more so now , but then again i was confident we'd win at yours :D

Steve, to many Chairman now interfering in the team management and they all think they know better and panic due to the high stakes of the Premier League.

Re: ' Michael Laudrup is Sacked and '

One things for sure if they don't beat us, and with their next four games being very tough I can see them being bottom 3 . probably end up there at the end of the season too. So the game is vital for them . no one outside of the Cardiff fans expect anything than a Jacks win . So the pressure is on them , that's why Laudrup was sacked they are panicking big time .
Game on , can't wait .

The worse news for them is no Shelvey. Very ugly deform creature but their best player
and makes them tick. Reshape of the team only needs one decision Chico-Mareca does not
like and the Spaniards will roll eyes to each other. No shelvey means Mutch will have no
challenge in there. Go for throat Ole!

Interesting post. Do you habitually abuse fans of other clubs who post on here because of an in-built inferiority complex? Psychologists would tell you that your behaviour in constantly trying to demean other people shows a distinct lack of conviction in your own opinions and your own arguments. It's an attempt to deflect the weakness of your statements. Can you not respond without the abuse? Why do you feel the need to do this?

Why?? I enjoy their posts....surely this forum should include banter...I have the impression that Swansea supporters are obssessed with us, it's like our club has this shaggy, flea infested street-dog that needs to be put down, but we keep it alive because we're cruel.

i think part of the reason we sacked ML is because he never even made plans...therefore there arent any to be thrown into chaos!

i really dont know where i stand with monk as manager, but at the very least he has been there for the most succesful period in our history and has seen the good (and bad) in how three of the best managers we've had operate. so you'd hope hes picked some stuff up!
