I might not even pay for premier league football at those prices.

PLASTIC ALERT.

WE HAVE DETECTED 100% PURE ACRYLIC.

As a fellow student, can you say that you can afford travel, ticket cost and match-day costs for every game? Even for games like AV at the reduced prices it's £21, not exactly affordable week in and week out with travel and everything :P

Yeah maybe :D

I'd still follow them though, never miss a game live when I can stream it, just wish I could afford to go live more often!

I can't see how students can moan at all.

I finished 3 years ago and all I did was basically drink, go to the casino and eat shit for 3 years. Spending hundreds of pounds on total crap throughout.

Get a part time job and you could easily spare £400+ quid for a season ticket, EASILY.

Yes for me, the ironic thing for me though is how we've increased our ST Holders over say the last decade.
If we did go down and taking the price hikes into question for non price freeze ST holders, I think we could take a big hit and maybe go back approx 5 years on our numbers?

Transport's the main concern and I only really have time to work in the holidays, third year and all. Will hopefully have a job come May though, so then I might be able to start coming more regularly :D

Thank god you posted that mate!

I can sell my season ticket for the rest of the season then, no point going to games if we know the outcome. Will save a lot of heartache too

£300 is a f*cking bargain!

To you maybe, but not to me. It's pathetic my support for the club is being questioned because of me not being able to afford the tickets. Pathetic.

I don't think it is meant to question your support. Many people support the club and can only see them occasionally for multitudes of reasons (economics, work, family, where they live etc etc). Season tickets are only good value if you can afford them and go to the vast majority of matches.

Definitely renewing

Only question for me is whether to stay in 117 or move elsewhere. I'm fed up of impersonating zebedee every game, up, down, up, down, up, down.

Not going anymore either way. Bollocks to football - after 20 year love affair with Cardiff City, I have a new mistress - cycling. Rather spend my Saturdays doing something I now enjoy more!! Thanks City been a Hell of a Ride....

Now I know why you're slower than Cornelius turning. Stop wasting tax payers cash and spend the money on learning. :old:

You probably went to UWIC or Glamorgan which is closer to home.

I bet he was one of the people who booed whitts.

You mean one of those approximately 20,000 people booing and cheering that he got subbed? Shame that.

£300 is not cheap no matter what league you're in. For the Prem that's still too much, and for Championship that's even worse. But f**k me right for choosing financial safety over 90 minutes every other weekend.

Re: Will you still go if Cardiff are relegated?

I have said no. Not because we will be playing in the Championship but because of the ridiculous prices for Season Tickets I have been going down for the past 15 years, on and off as a season ticket holder due to other commitments. Although their is the option for the pay monthly I cant even afford that at the moment. I dont see value for money with the season ticket if we go down and it is likely I will just purchase a membership and only travel for away games and the odd home match.
