Maybe wrong though.
He is right-footed, and although his left-foot is OK, it falls more natural for him to run down the pitch and swing it in. He is a very aggressive-minded fullback, switching from the left to the right as a right-footed player is no big deal - I think he might be converted to be a right-back at CFC.
I'd like to see Daehli instead of Bellamy, though. I know it's not happening, but he has the creativity Cardiff lacks in the final third. Personally I haven't been impressed by Mutch's season so far either - he is a work horse, yes, but he is "just another boring" center midfielder for me, so I'd also have Eikrem there instead, giving that extra bit of creativity from the middle of the pitch. I highly doubt OGS (and most people on this forum) share(s) my opinion, though.

At last someone brave enough to come out with it, he is good just not as creative & technical as Dælli, we should of invested more this summer in the C Midfield area but money was wasted on other players.

Harsh on Mutch, he's been our best midfielder this season and one of our best attacking threats

We should try and stick with a settled side for this one and go with the side that finished at Half Time to Norwich. All of our rightbacks scare me when defending but Fabio did have some better end product in attack than we've seen for most of the season.

Whatever your team does I just hope they keep an eye on that Carlos Kickaball that got or player suspended.
Someone farts in the stand and he'll be over.

Premier League: Swansea City v Cardiff City match preview -
Swansea welcome Welsh rivals Cardiff to the Liberty just days after the sacking of manager Michael Laudrup. Garry Monk has been given the role as head coach for the foreseeable future and he will face a difficult test in his first match in charge. The Swans have gathered only five points in their last nine Premier League games and will be desperate to revenge the 1-0 defeat Cardiff inflicted on them when the teams last met in November.
Cardiff have difficulties of their own as they currently sit 19th in the table, two points from safety. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has experienced a difficult start to his role as Cardiff manager losing his first three games in the Premier League. However, two of those games were against Manchester City and Manchester United and the Bluebirds secured an important win against Norwich last Saturday.
KICK-OFF: Saturday, 5.30pm
PAST THREE MEETINGS…
Cardiff 1 (Caulker) Swansea 0, Premier League, November 2013
Swansea 0 Cardiff 1 (Bellamy), Championship, February 2011
Cardiff 0 Swansea 1 (Emnes), Championship, November 2010

If he's fit enough put him in...good pedigree of player coming from a top 6 spanish team who was by all accounts a regular starter

It was interesting to see that Norwich held Man City to a goalless draw today. A lucky draw as far as stats are concerned, but still it might indicate that beating Norwich last time indicates that Cardiff are slightly better off than what the lucky win you had against them initially indicated.
Interesting that Noone starts on the bench today too. I saw a few commentaries here and there that stated that it was mainly a lapse of concentration by him that gave Norwich the early goal last time. One defensive weakness out then, and an offensive impact player to put on if the match has a negative development from a Cardiff point of view.

I do not understand Mutch and noone on bench FFs
Whitts starting shows fk all ambition for me. Let's hope u get proven wrong but to leave arguably our best 2 on bench is puzzling. Don't want them coming on to try get us back in game it don't make sense to me

Cardiff are looking nervous so far...

rangel should of been sent off

Fantastic play by Bellamy. Jones header wide under pressure. Cardiff seem to be settling a little now.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:48 pm
can see this as 0-0.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:50 pm
Swansea started off very quick. Biting in the tackle (and off the ball..). Cardiff coming back into it. Zaha looks confident and quick. Great 'out' ball. Wouldn't be surprised if Rangel gets into card trouble.

Is it just me or does that Monk look like a tw*t?
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:53 pm
f*cking Jacks singing pro VT songs....
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:54 pm
Swansea defence torn apart by Bellers. Jones go close again.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:55 pm
This is the Bellamy we know. Playing really really well. Sharp.
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:56 pm
Turner has got a touch like a bomb!
Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:59 pm
Were creeping into this time more all the time, the longer it goes on like this the more chance we have of pinching it!

Jones looks like he's carrying a bit of timber. Bellamy looks like a 20 year old.
