Of course he was right. He should have jumped in the stands and kicked some as well Cantona style.

I would have snapped the c**t in two if he tried that
Good for you Baz! It would do him the world of good
considering my seat is half way up too

I've just seen it for the first time now, my first thought was that he should go f**k himself..regardless if people were booing whitts..that's our right as paying customers anyway.
I don't condone booing, I never boo and never leave early, but understand why people do.
Ironically, imagine if bellers never made it and was just a lowly fan..he'd be a right boo'er!!

part of being a professional sportsman is at times you have to face the shit....you cant just take the praise without being able to take the critisism.....they get rewarded very well and at the end of the day people pay their money so entitled to be disgruntled...it may not be the right way to show your not happy, but at times it may be the only way to get your view across...

He dished out what the fans did, difference is some of our supporters think we are saints yet don't give the team positive support.

Hmmm so how did you vote craig coz your view is bang in the middle of those two options.
But I think he was totally unprofessional in everything he did and said. Yes I agreed Whitts had to come off and he has been very lightweight for us this season. Whitts hasn't been the same since Malky wasted him in the defensive midfielder role last season. An in form Whitts is immense but and out of form Whitts is a liability. But the booing for which I never heard in the Ninian and by accounts could not be heard in the Grange if happened was very wrong.
But for Bellamy to mouth f*cking wankers at the crowd after scoring was very wrong and he should be apologising not us. He was un professional and damn well insulting to us.How dare he after a career of insulting everone he then turns on Cardiff fans and saying it if he has supported us all his life. He is a Liverpool fan at the end of the day.
Bellers you was out of order 100% end of.
I couldnt vote because like you said I fell in the middle of the options, just to clarify though.
I heard the booing, it came from the front of ninian around 111/112 and it seemed the corner between Ninian and Grandstand. The booing of any CCFC player whilst game is playing is bang out of order. They need our support during those 90mins. Whitts had a mare and deserved to be substituted, the crowd reaction was a disgrace.
Now Mr Bellamy.
I believe he has the right to question the booing element of the crowd, as he did in his interview but he 100% should not have swore and motioned toward the crowd in the manner he did after he scored. He should realise tensions were at an extremely high level, we were losing and the game was slipping us by and Whitts was the worst culprit (doesnt warrant him being booed)....that was a must win....if we lost we would have been cut adrift.

Some fans can't take what they dish out-good enough for them.

Not talking about the past, talking about Saturday.
The fans dishing out so he gives it back, about time in fairness.

He's a petulant, childish little idiot and him playing for Cardiff doesn't change my view on him.
Moaning about modern football dressed in that red clown outfit, couldn't make it up

100% yes he was right. The stadium is full of negative wankers, which should stay at home!!
Whits is a CCFC hero and has put a lot of smiles on our faces. Plastic fans with short memories

I agree that the booing of Whitts was wrong (forgot to mention that) but Bellamy needs to get off his high horse.

Bellamy was sticking up for a team mate, isn't that what we want within our squad

There is a time and a place, swearing at your own fans is not the way to go about it. He needs taking down a peg or two.

Why does he need taking own a peg or two, there were so called fans booing his team mate he stuck up for him so he told them what he thought that's life. I would rather have Bellamy done that than the pricks that booed thinking that was okay to do.

It's not playgroup they are a football team trying to stay in the premiership, if he screams it's for a reason don't think he bullies them

We all got different views on this you might be right

Its not bad to say the truth and they were wankers , Ok Whitts is off his game but he is a class player in the championship .
I do feel he is a little out of his depth in the prem at this time, but you have to help and get behind him not him more to worry about.
I believe a couple of goals would do him the world of good. Its a bloody good Job them wankers weren't around when we were in the depths of the lower divisions and seen half the things the old long time fans had seen.
Tue Feb 04, 2014 7:07 pm
I'd like to see a poll "Were fans right to cheer when Whitts was subbed"?
At the end of the day CB39 is human too.
No doubt many of the cheerers for Whitts will be slightly embarassed and regretful but human nature and frustration are emotions that we cant always factor in at the heat of the moment.
I put it to you that CB39 is human too and as every action has an equal but opposite reaction this was also raw emotion too.
So... the cheerers are allowed to be human but the players are not? come on... We often talk about players losing touch with the real fans and no longer having affiliation with clubs etc... In my oppinion CB39 is in fact "in touch" and we are just not used to it anymore with all the other primadonnas seemingly making us believe they are in fact how a footballer should act.
Total Bollox...,. Well done CB39 for keeping it real, sticking up for your team mate and acting on raw emotion like a real person and a real Cardiff City fan.

Bellamy was backing his own player and trying to pick him, it is completely embarrassing to watch some fans on here actually disagree, he only wants the supporters to get behind the team, delusional is beyond for some.

No Bellamy played on the left.
Hope this helps
Tue Feb 04, 2014 10:37 pm
Completely right - so many here complain about tan disregarding our history and then forgetting that whitts has dedicated a lot of his career to Cardiff and made a big impact on the club in previous seasons, isn't that part of our history?
He may be playing shit at the moment but there is never an excuse to boo you're own players
Tue Feb 04, 2014 10:59 pm
There were kids in that section are they f*cking wankers ? Its Bellers job to play for Cardiff City not to abuse them. Has a player never been booed before ? Its football but Bellers was just acting like a spoilt brat Saturday.
Wed Feb 05, 2014 12:52 am
Fans shouldn't of boo'd whitts end of! I agree with his post match interview but his goal celebration was OTT and childish!! No way should he of called the fans wankers, There were many fans that didn't boo, Are they wankers as well? You can't tar all fans with the same brush!
Wed Feb 05, 2014 12:54 am
I've watched the highlights over and over and I still can't make out Bellamy shouting "f*cking wankers". He was right to "shh" the crowd though.
