Tut, tut, tut.

Poor statement by Malky which has shown him to be two faced and willing to benefit while we suffered. No it serves his purpose to stir up the hornets nest.

Also terrible decision by the the Supporters Trust. We have a manager at the club what message does this send to Ole.

My membership will be cancelled.

Nothing good can come from this move. I intend to withdraw mt Supporters Trust membership before the next home game.

All these judgements because Malky was on the payroll is a bit rich from some. No one is going to upset the applecart when being paid unless the circumstances are right and they were never right under Tan atm.

Thats fair enough. But at the time he said many things about the rebrand and basically how we should accept it blag blah blah.......don't you think its a bit rich to suddenly change tact when things have gone bad for him?

If you claim to be a man of principles, then no money should alter them.

As everyone knows I am a big Malky fan, but Malky never once backed us when he was here and in fact at meetings I attended I actually had to argue with him over the stripping of our identity.

His reply would be " Just look at Rangers " So I would say " Would you ask Celtic fans to change their Identity ? " And after repeating that at least 3 times, Malky would would reply " You know the answer to that I would not " So I would say " Then Do not ask us to then ."

Well said Annis. Massive respect and further proof you tell the truth and don't twist things to suit the agenda you're supposed to have as some plonkers claim on here. No doubt your truths here will rustle a few feathers.

He should therefore remain silent on the matter now or have been a bit more clever about his statement while manager.

This serves no benefit except his own benefit. He must know he is undermining the current manager and it is unprofessional to do that to a fellow manager.

The Supporters Club are showing even less respect for our current manager. Diabolical behaviour.

Read the article again, Malky doesn’t once mention the Rebrand – His exact words are – “Please don’t give up on trying to do the right things for the club”. The Trust have a number of objectives including trying to get fan representation on the board. He could be Referring to any of their agenda items.

So why should quit over any of these?

Your probably one of the worse trolls on this forum and you never post anything positive. If you’re not having a go at the players or manager(s), you having a pop at anyone who wants to return to blue.

I think a lot of people on here are misreading the Malky’s quote;-

The text from the OP was “and he urged fans who have been rocked by Tan’s decision to change the clubs colours to red” is not Malky’s words it’s the journalists words who put the piece together.

What he actually said was – “Please don’t give up on trying to do the right things for the club” – which could be about any as we all know the Trust have not been very vocal about keeping the club blue.

Annis, I can't really understand you losing respect for Malky here. Well done to the Supporters' Trust for making someone who hasAde a significant contribution to the club an honorary member. I think it's a well worded reply by Malky. He's clearly happy to have been invited, and then, in saying that fans should do the right thing, he is not out-and-out saying that the club should go back yo being blue, but he is implying that perhaps the whole time he was manager, when quite obviously he could not let his views known publicly, he was not comfortable with the rebrand. Good on Malky!

Nick, He was adamant we should not fight for our identity when we were here and I argued with him for 20 mins about it. He should of stayed out of the politics side but instead came to our meeting with the club and made a speech to us.
Our identity means a lot to some of us and its not just to be used in Tan and Malky's war.

if he now have these views, he should of had the views at the very beginning and if tan didn't like it then he should of faced the music then or resign because when big managers with passionate views are put in that position 9 times out of 10 they would of walked, imagine this happened at Newcastle when bobby robson (rip) was in charge no doubt in my mind he would of told the owner to f**k off and left

Exactly ,what a tw*t ,nice of him to say f**k all while he was here to afraid at the time to upset tan, now as soon as he's gone he tells us to fight for it ,well a few decent words off him a while ago would've been nice maybe try and tell tan it was a mistake but no he just sucked up to tan at the time .

Well, I guess if that is the case, he was probably basically siding with the argument that the investment too good to not take up, and promotion the key goal, which was a compelling argument last season. If anything, I think the rebrand has now caused more upset than anyone could have anticipated. Wonder if it could ever get to the stage where NO red shirts are seen in the crowd, even at home games?

You have totally missed the point.

This is NOT just an ex-manager becoming an honorary member in the twilight of his career. This is NOT a nice gesture by the supporters trust for someone who helped the club get where they are today.

This is an attempt to undermine the club and in totally the wrong way. The trust and Malky are using the situation for their own gain and not for the good of the club.

How dare Malky do this to another manager.

They knew exactly what would happen and what they were doing. Petty, childish and not the way to react to Tan's obvious similar stupidity.

Be the bigger person, but no just be the same. Dire.

You cannot agree with it for the money and then show distain. THAT is a scummy way to be, shame on any fans who have this outlook.

the bigger joke is the trust asking him to be an honorary member ,this guy will be working for another club soon,do you think he will give a shit about the club NO !!...that's a fact he may play it nice while he's out of work but wont give a shit when he's in a job again.
I like malky and what he did getting us promoted but he's gone now and i'm behind OGS ,time others moved on after all malky's football wasn't the best to watch.

Everyday i think we all debate about the same thing. Am I right to class this?

Malky Likey
If you like the rebrand you will dislike Malky no matter what's being done and what is being said. Nothing is going to change your opinion!

Malky No Likey
If you hate the rebrand you will like and support Malky no matter what's been done and being said! Nothing is going to change your opinion!
Or If you hate his tactic's and upset with the money he had spent - you will dislike Malky no matter what's being done and what is being said! Nothing is going to change your opinion!

If you are a neutral in regards to Malky and Tan - you don't give a shit whats been done and what's being said.

Annis, you're spot on here Malky quick enough to calm the waters over the rebrand knowing he would get the investment and have a promotion on his CV. now he should just shut up as all he is doing is undermining our manager and club in a very childish way in his ego battles with Tan.
