Truth is though, from a preservation point-of-view, its good that Carrol serves a 3-game ban.

West Ham are so reliant on Caroll, without him they will stay were they are in the league the closer West Ham are to relegation, the better for us and Swansea who are looking like relegation candidates too

Have you actually read my post? I have said that his actions were over the top. However, that does not detract from the fact that Carroll lashed out and struck him. Has to be a red card. Look at Carroll's face. Is what Chico did really any different to the West Ham players who grappled with Ash and Chico off the ball at every set piece to let Carroll get a free header? Or any different to the constant kicking of Nathan Dyer?
