Rhodes is the most impossible transfer target in the entire championship.

1. Blackburn bought him for £8M.
2. Blackburn are now eyeing promotion and are on form to get to playoffs
3. Rhodes seems loyal to Rovers.

So. Not only will "an extra £3-4 million" be woefully short of what Rovers want for him, but he is unlikely to even look at the contract papers.

PS: Rhodes has very high goal bonuses.
