The £1m for Ince works as part payment for the final fee so not "dead money" as it were

Only if he decides to sign on with you which is by no means guaranteed, especially if he does well or if you get relegated

He would have already signed a pre commitment contract prior to a loan to a permanent view in this scenario, no doubt about that.

The choice is down to us.

but would he sign commitment to you if 1, doesnt know manager next season, 2,as you got possibility of being relegated? seems odd thing to do , would you do it in his shoes??

I think we are all aware of Tom Ince's preference to keeping his options open!

Swansea will pay some money up front for the loan deal and then depending on when the permanent transfer goes through they will receive the rest of the agreed amount or the compensation value.

If he went to Monaco they would have received next to nothing a la Ledley and Celtic so Blackpool have been bent over a table by Huw to make this happen. Hes essentially getting a try before you buy.

Invention. If Ince goes to Swans it will because he knows his value will fall should he stay at
struggling Blackpool. He wants shop window for the few months Ince and father truly believe him
to be a great great talent. they still stupidly believe Liverpool will see him play in the Premier

But you say Swansea have him tied up but only if they want him. How silly

Incorrect.

It is a loan with a view to a permanent move. The decision now lies with the club and the loan fee will het deducted from the final fee/compensation. This is just how it is.

His contract ends this summer why would it be permanent move when he can just leave

Why would blackpool accept a loan with first refusal on a permenant transfer at the end of the season when his contact ends in the summer?

Swansea will pay for a loan until the summer at which point he'll rejoin Liverpool on a free.

Because they get money as it is to a British side. It depends on when the perma transfer goes through, they will either get the compensation or the rest of the agreed fee... Plus they get money up front now.

If he let his contract run down and went to Monaco as was being threatened then they wouldn't get anything.

Re: Strange one ince to jacks on loan??

So basically it all comes down to whether another club come into buy him. As there would be no guarentee that you will sign Ince in the summer.

What final fee?

Ince is out of contract at the end of the season he can leave for nothing.

Blackpool wouldn't even been entitled to anything he came from liverpools academy, so why would swansea pay for a free player?

An I forgot to add f**k ince an zaha daehli is better then both of them put together

Depends whether you believe he has signed a pre commitment contract or not as it usual practice in these type of contract ending loan to permanent deal scenarios.

Of he didnt then yes. If he did, then no.

Let's be honest if a top club wanted him now they would get him. I doubt he has many options in the PL and this loan deal is about as good as he can get.

It makes no difference whos academy he came from. Blackpool will be entitled compensation due to his age for development.

Depending on when the perma signing takes place (still some time to run on contract) it will either be the remaining agreed fee, minus what has already been paid - or the cost of the compensation in which the loan fee will be considered.

Im being serious. Ince is going to rejoin Liverpool on a free in the summer. Liverpool want him and if Ince holds out then he gets a signing on bonus from them instead of Blackpool getting a small transfer fee (due to Liverpool's cut involved of any sale). Ince gets a tidy £2m in his back pocket for holding out and Blackpool get nothing other than the loan fee Swansea City paid them for a loan until the summer.

Why would Liverpool sign Ince now when they can wait and nab him for next to nothing in the summer? Wait until the summer and instead of paying Blackpool £4m they pay Ince £2m like that. Its also better for Ince as he can get a bigger signing on fee as Liverpool will be more happy to pay it given that they don't have to pay Blackpool a penny.

Blackpool know its happening and thats why they want to loan him out now to try and get some money before he walks back to Liverpool in the summer. Why would he join Swansea on a permanent when he's free and Everton and Liverpool, both bigger clubs want him?

He's going to end up back at Liverpool. Its so obvious. :ayatollah:

They couldn't get him for nothing. They would be due compensation.

They could probably have got him cheaper now if they actually wanted him as they have a sell on fee based on contractual exchange.. Which basically means they could have him at 40% off or whatever the % is.

If they wait for the tribunal it may be far more than anything Blackpool would accept now.

No they won't. Blackpool owe Liverpool a percentage of any sell on fee. If Ince goes to you then Blackpool owe Liverpool money. Ince is holding out to rejoin Liverpool for nothing and pick up a tidy signing on fee for the privilege. Liverpool have a 50% sell on clause on Ince which is well known.

Please tell me why he'd join you for say £4m (Blackpool get £2m, Liverpool get £2m) and he gets a standard wage packet and not Liverpool for a large signing on fee and better wage packet at a better club where he can boost his England prospects?

Hes signing for you on loan like Zaha is for us and then in the summer he's off to a bigger club for free. The bigger clubs are waiting on him to be free in the summer to pounce. You think he's going to choose you over them? Put the crack pipe away.
