Even when he doesn't win a header, he throws off the defender marking him enough to disrupt them and potentially allow another teammate to win the ball. He's certainly not quick, but I think he can do a job as a target man. Everybody is on his ass about his transfer fee and wages but as others have said, that's not his fault. He certainly outplayed Mason today and I was hoping to see him play with Campbell but that didn't happen. He'll come good. Will he ever justify the transfer fee? Who knows, but if given the time and chance, I think he'll become a good player for us.

I agree.
I believe Cornelius will become an important player for the Bluebirds. He showed some strenghts and progression yesterday,ok pace and technique for a big guy,he moved around and tried making himself available for his team-mates.Campbell was almost invisible in second half in comparison,in my view.I like Campbell a lot,he will become a top striker soon, but I think Cornelius also is close to finding back to his strenght and can become just as important for Cardiff as Cambpell is now. They are different as strikers, and it is very good for a team to have players with different strenghts.
Cornelius still needs some more games and get back some more confidence, but it will come.
I predict Cornelius coming in as supersub after 75 minutes against Man United, crushing Vidic in a header or two and scoring at least one goal  :happy1:

He'll have a difficult job crushing Vidic, as he's suspended! :D

He's also fighting for his life after Cornelius crushed him in a lift at Manchester airport.

Either way, he can't play against us! :D

What are your opinions on Malky's eye for a player, Do you think he is blind?

Judging by his signings, yes.

What's puzzling me is that you don't win Danish player of the year and young player of the year without having something special about you, perhaps he needs more time to adjust to the British game. :?

Shit  Ok,but then he will beat up some other guys on Man United

But seriously guys,I am just overcompensating a bit because Cornflake gets to much undeserved piss in my opinion. He is still not at the level he was when he left FCK,and besides that he is only 20 years old.
I believe he will start to show more and more of his good qualities each game from now on.
And then he wil receive the Golden Ball 2014,just ahead of a really fed up Ribery :laughing6:

I didn't watch the game today, but I was toldthat Cornelius has a massive leap and looks potentially unplayable in arial battles.

You could say Arnie Schwarzenegger has a massive leap and looks potentially unplayable in arial battles. It wouldn't make him a good footballer.

Do you think Arnie looks unplayable at premiereship level?

In an arial battle, more than likely.

I still believe we haven't seen the best of Andreas. SO...for a target man who's 6'whatever, he can't win an aerial battle for love nor money, but did anyone else see what he could do on the ground? He can cut players up, keep possession of the ball and he's not afraid to run at the defence. Admittedly his shooting isn't top notch but, again, the boy has been injured and needs to find his feet.

I'll give him a few starts before judging him in a negative way. At the end of the day he's only young, he needs his confidence boosted by the fans.

I don't believe that price tag was in any way accurate and his wages are way too high. If he doesn't start earning his wages then OGS will ship him out. Let our manager decide if he's good enough.

I agree with this.
If Cornelius lacks talent AND mindset to work hard to improve,Ole will let him go.But if Cornflake has what it takes,Ole will see it,and then I am 100% sure that Andreas will soon become an important striker for Cardiff. I allready saw improvement in the Bolton game, and I don't get surprised if he allready are up to a level that he can come in as a sub lets say after 75 min and really make some trouble for the other teams defenders, even scoring an important goal.
So I hope everyone gets behind Cornelius as long as he is a Cardiff player, support him,and I think you will by that all help him to become an even better footballer.Confidence and support means a lot to football players, and one might say extra for a striker.

I heard that too. When Cornelius was playing against the 7 dwarfs, he won every header! :malky:

£8million is ALOT of money even in this league - with the amount of wages he gets every week, he should atleast be troubling the goalkeeper every now and then. He won't get a sniff when Kenwyn Jones plays alongside Campbell.
