..... To get planning permission? f*cking hell your naive.

They have to prove that the extension is needed.

So Swansea lied to get planning permission  you obviously haven't read the application or the report which granted the planning permission, other wise you wouldn't have made such a pathetic statement.

Yes some games have seats spare were season ticket holders aint turned up but it realy is few and far between unlike the hundreds u have.
As for the rest iv put up, why is it bollocks?
Were u not getting 13k before your cup runs and play offs?
And was we not getting 15 k in our 2 season's in the champ?
It takes time to build a fan base after the shit we went through.

You have never averaged more than cardiff even in the champ and that's a fact. If you want me to bring up figures I can, you only have to ask

Yoe were getting 13 k plus over a few seaaons.
Only after a few years in the champ and after your cup and play off runs did u get above 20k.
We were getting 15k on our 2 seasons in the champ without any cup or play off runs.
What im saying is u had a good 8 to 10 years above us to build your fan base.
It realy is nit that hard to understand and not even said we have a bigger fan base.

Was that not your first season?
If u look again it went down to 13k.
And over then next few years slowley went up.
But lets not gorget u had that clown hamman giving out huge wages to has been players and allso pushing for playoffs .
We in our first season had 15 k along with our second.
Bare in mind we had only just got there and had little publicity or success.
To cut a long story short for the last 10 years u have been in the top flight and second tier and had cup runs.
We hav only had 5 years in the top flight and second tier, before that we were lower league.

Do you really think your fan base can match Cardiff's ?
I understand where you are coming from on the whole decade thing in the championship. Surely you can see that both clubs have a new breed of supporters who might be classed as plastics/newbies. Its pretty irellevant at the moment to compare both clubs potential for growth.
Cardiff have already started their expansions in their first top flight season. Swansea however wont see significant change to the Liberty stadium for another 24/36 months. It is a big risk for any growing club to expand their grounds and hope to fill them.
There is no point in trying to compare attendances from the past, its now what matters. Cardiff and Tan see the potential in quick growth. Whilst this could be a bit dangerous potentially having a 33k stadium in the championship. Surely that in itself is enough evidence to you showing the differnces between the two clubs.

Re: jacks get permission to expand liberty

Sat Jan 25, 2014 9:48 pm

Comparing attendances shows that for virtually all of our histories we've had bigger gates - add to that larger nu bers going away.

For the halfwit going on about our 1st season in the champ, we were at NP then - our crowds almost doubled when we went to our new stadium - just like yours. The Family Stand in NP could only hold 1000 -the 6000 Family Stand at CCS has been sold out form day 1 to now. if we added another tier to this stand and gave it up to families we'd most likely sell that out too.

Also you can't have it both ways - the JBs are trying to say our crowds home and away are only so good this year because it's our first season up. then saying our crowds in the champ were only good because we were in it so long. make your feckin minds up

it shouldn't be a big deal to them - Cardiff is a bigger city and the in the Valleys our support outnumbers the jacks by miles - 800k-1m people live in the valleys. We've got a huge catchment area, so hardly surprising that when all things are equal we get better crods.

In Swansea's promotion season, a year when we were neck and neck on the pitch, both in our new grounds, probably the season where there would be the fairest comparison of our respective support- our home support was 40-50% more than theirs our away support 40-50% more. How on earth they can claim their support is as big as ours after that I don't know.
