I think the Jacks are relying on their injured players coming back into the fray. This I feel is a risk specially with those who have been out for a length of time like Michu. Usually it takes a season to get back up to speed for these type of things.

Looking at the rest of the teams I would say Fulham are favourites to go down. I just cant see that squad turning it around. West Ham look another favourite to go down but I feel they have the experience and quality to pull through. Palace and Sunderland are starting to get their acts together and could pull through. I would say out of these lot Fulham is one team both Welsh clubs should end up higher than.

Usually a team mid table ends up getting dragged into the relegation fight. If Hull or Norwich go on a bad run, I believe it will be Hull out of these 2, then there is a possibility that another relegation place we could avoid.

Personally I feel both Welsh club could easily go down now. The unknown Ole factor could save us and the Jacks are going to rely on Bony who is showing premier striker credentials now. I woukld say the Jacks have the slight edge on us because of him.

I can see how Cardiff fans can see OGS as a positive, but , playing devil's advocate, could he not be a liability? No managerial experience in the PL, or in UK other than at under 21 level. I know he played at Man Utd under the great Sir Alex, but how many relegation battles were they involved in where OGS could gain experience. It's a totally different game at the top to the bottom. Also, the players he's brought in to date will, as you've alluded to above, probably take a season to get up to speed. I agree that no team is safe until it's mathematically impossible to be relegated and I think it will be a long time before that point arrives for either Welsh team

Its always a risk bringing in a new manager. i do feel our choice of manager is a high risk for reasons you have given.

The players brought in are fit so if they are good enough they should very quickly settle in. Of course good enough being the operative words here. Injured players regardless what quality they have do take a lot longer to get back up there, history has shown that.

I don't agree that good players necessarily settle in quickly. Even players coming in from top leagues can struggle with the pace, ferocity and physicality of the PL. I would agree that players returning from serious injury take time to settle back in (Ramsey being a prime example), but the majority of our injuries have not been that serious. We could have four or five players back in the next two weeks including Vorm, Hernandez, Dyer, de Guzman and possibly Michu. That will make us a different team, I believe
