Needs a rest I think.

You only as good as the players around you and rite now we dont have enough of them players

Hes overrated honestly. As for Pitbull, he looks more like a sheepdog these days. He was much better in La Liga when he was all fired up and got stuck in. Telling him to behave has ruined his game.

If it wasn't for Dave Jones' signings like Whittingham and Marshall we'd be even worse off now. Mutch, Noone and Caulker are the only Malky players who are any good.

Gary is still performing better than Whitts though.

No he's not. Whitts is our second best performer. The stats prove that. Medel has gone missing loads and has lost runners numerous times. He's not as good as people make out.

From what ive seen, which isnt every game - id say Whittingham is outperforming Medel

What stat of 'Whitts' will express just how dire his missed sitter was a few weeks ago.

Can the stats Tell me the difference between a defensive error leading to a goal, a defensive error in a benign area .
A bad tracking of runner in a dangerous area. that puts undue presure on your own players, the stats will show a mistake on the players around Whitts, because he is exsposing them.etc etc

Spot on Roathie. Our fans just like to abuse Whittingham because he's an intelligent player that doesn't charge into tackles. Medel gets stuck in but often gets caught out of position but they don't realise that. Whittingham is better than Medel easily and has outperformed him this season. Medel has been caught out numerous times by numerous players at all PL levels. The love for him is a myth honestly and doesn't make sense.

Nonsense. Medel loses his runners all the time. He gets drawn in and gets caught out of position all the time at this level.

You can debate who is performing better than who until the cows come home but given both our piss poor results AND perfirmances this last 2-3 months then the team in general are not performing.

Aside from West Ham last week I cant think of a game where we got less than we deserved. Sunderland naybe but you could argue sitting on our 18 yard line last 20 we got our commupence.

I think only Marshall and Mutch can be happy with their contribution this season. Also Noone has been playing well since been given a chance this last month.

Probably a bit harsh on Campbell also as he has chipped in a few goals and had very little service although he has missed a couple of sitters that could have changed the game ie Palace away and West Ham home and is sometimes his control and ball retention is very sloppy.

The rest have under performed or are just not good enough.

Your status as an obsessive jack with problems will always be important when deciding how much credibility one should attatch to your opinion. Therefore it's not meaningless to flag up your problems, as they feed into the narrative and should be flagged up for context. I know you crave respectability roathie and it must hurt when your opinion is disregarded. but you aren't quite on the same planet as the 'neuro typicals' my advice to you would this. stop seeking approval or influence from CCFC, you'll never be understood, become even more of a loner, plough your on field, be a maverick that shifts the paradigm. Attend the tennis with your jack sister like it's a date, long after play ends and the lights go out, by all means sire your sister on centre court in the true jack tradition, just spare us the details. or your opinion on Gary Medel.

I would agree with this, also think Caulker has done well.

One nil down, huffing and puffing and shooting from miles out they pop down the other end and score with ease, where's your defensive midfielder, getting ready for a two yard backwards pass ???

I haven't mentioned possession have I? You can play well and still be losing you know :D we have been unlucky, blatant penalty turned down, Bony smashed the bar, lots of chances just havent stuck one away. Spurs did. Simple as that.

Isnt this thread about Medel?

Pick on whatever stats you wish in your picture, its irrelevant except 0-1

Re: GARY

all the traveling he has had to do with chile must take it out of him aswell but malkys style of constant defend at all times must of had an impact on him and the rest to be fair, ole questions the energy at beginning of games and said it needs addressing, few more weeks and we will see more attacking from the start of games not just second half as the energy levels will be high, medel does need to sort a diet plan out aswell and shred a few pounds

I haven't denied we are losing. But that wasn't what was said, it was said we weren't playing very well.

I disagreed as the stats show. We have had more of the ball and created the most chances with it.

Everyone loses... As you know.

Yes, I take on board that his form had dipped but I still rate him as the best Cardiff City player.

The Chilean national team is a fantastic team who have an outside chance of reaching the final WC2014

I really do not see any other player who would be good enough to get in that national team apart from Cornelius

Moreover, he has played for possession based football teams and not he has been signed for a predominantly counter-attacking team. IF we stay up and get better players around him we will see the Medel that plays for Chile :ayatollah:
