We wouldn't even be in the Premier League if it wasn't for Malky.

Malky lacked tactical awareness to keep us up. His football defines the the term "anti-football". I don't mind watching counter attacking football but that is exactly what MM's style wasn't. You do not play counter attack by launching aimless balls to a striker who is no taller than 6ft and tell no-one to go beyond the halfway line to support him. You do play it by having someone who is strong and capable of holding the ball up with wingers who are fast and tricky to get up and support him with mid-fielders running beyond the striker to get on the end of any cross or flick ons. I rarely saw more than 4 players cross the line in a match at times at that is depressing.
He left Noone on the bench until the end of November to bring him on due to media & fan pressure, he comes on and guess what? He draws the free kick which led to the late equaliser against United. Imagine if Noone actually started against the likes of Norwich or Villa? Or came on against Palace or Stoke when we offered NO spark in the final third? We may have got some points or better yet, we may have actually scored a goal. His treatment of wingers was shocking.
Wins against City and Swansea papered over huge cracks that appeared. A lot were blinded by them to see the dross we served up week in week out. Bringing up his achievements (which I fully respect) to try and justify why we should just shut up and be in awe of the Scottish messiah. I saw the holes in Mackay's management after we lost 2-1 to Newcastle at home where we waited until we were two down to attack them and then lost faith after the loss at Villa.
His signings have been dreadful. Caulker has come good with Medel and KTC going off the boil lately. Offsidewingie needs to learn how to hold his runs and stop thinking he is Messi. I still want to give Cornelius time but Malky trying to tell us that he spent 8m for the future in our first season was pathetic. Brayford, who?
I was happy when he was sacked for two reasons. 1. So the bickering between him and VT could stop. 2. So we might actually try and utilise the semi-decent attacking players we have and the hoofball at every turn would have been cut out
I am glad that there are people on this board who are not like that guy who posted the infamous thread about Malky being United's next manager or the people who linked him to Spurs and can see he was a limited championship manager at best. The people who say that they are sick of seeing MM's name being dragged through the mud are annoying too. No mention of DJ's name being dragged through the mud on here. He did a great job and because he didn't fist pump or wasn't well media-trained people seem to forget everything he achieved here.
Ole will hopefully rid the team of MM's negative football and look to bring something more positive to the table and keep us up (which is something I doubt Malky would have done) and push on from there.
I respect Malky's achievements here and I appreciate everything he did but his time in the Prem here has left a bitter taste in my mouth, one where it'll be hard to look at all the good he had done without remembering the last 6 months of his tenure.

RoathMagic has extremely poor maths skills, as proven in the other thread. I'd ignore any mathematical advice he offers.

well you dint show it very well Martyn.
The threads you got involved in were the following....
1) Michu is not a striker - i was correct.
2) Michu is mot a winger - i was correct
3) most of our injuries have been in defence - i was correct
You will hang around talking rubbish until you see the smallest of disputed points and run with it singing and dancing around it as if your life depends on it.... However the fact remains, im still right
Shall we talk football then of you arent a Roathie obsessive? Prove to me you can do something else rather than talk about me. Ill be very surprised, and pleasantly surprised at that.
