The craddock was a great pub and the Barry boys used to drink in there back in the seventies. I remember coming out of there for a game to see robin Friday walking towards the ground with a pair of boots hung over his shoulder by the laces. He must have got to the ground about 30 minutes before kick off.

The lads were playing football on the pitch opposite Ninian Park and Robin Friday came over with a velvet jacket on complete with flares and platforms on with a four pack and a can in his hand and watched them play. I think he had just finished training

So you've never been attacked just because your Swansea at an away game? I've had it quite a few times when I've gone away throughout the years, so your logic has backfired right there. I've been to your place in the past and people have been foaming at the mouth to get at us, did I incite it? No, it's just because I'm Cardiff.
Goading away fans? I'd call it banter and it happens most week and it makes the experience of going away that much more enjoyable. It's not my fault that stewards get heavy handed at times and can't see the line between trouble and a bit of banter
And before you ask, yes I was there so I know what went on.

You are talking about local derbies, its different.
What you call banter, is the sort of things you will get a slap for. It is very rare to get attacked for supporting another team. If you wear the hooligan uniform and go round in large groups through their town then that can be seen as goading in itself and you know it.
Ive been to well over 200 away games and not once had any bother what so ever.

I wouldn't call myself a person who wears hooligan uniform, I went casual and still do. It just stops alot of bother off old bill when I go away, doesn't mean Im a hooligan and go looking for it.
I've had bother at Wolves, Stoke, west brom and Chelsea are they local derbies? No.
I wouldn't say going for a pint in a pub in a town centre of your opponents as goading would you? Nothing wrong with that at all. Are you suggesting that I drink in another town in future?
You're now backtracking as you said you wasn't having it for a second that it happens the other way round in terms of fans being attacked without provocation, you're now saying that my fault because I'm goading them?

You said the example of Cardiff and Swansea - i responded.
Yes I think drinking in their local pub is goading to the type of people you are trying to avoid. They arent normal thinking folk and to treat them as such is naive.
Im not backtracking at all. It is very rare to be attacked for supporting another side. As ive said ive done it well over 200 times and the worst I ever got was a few shoulder barges walking back to the car in Mansfield as I walked through the home crowd with my Swans top on.
How would anyone know you supported Cardiff if you just kept your mouth shut and went to the game? If you want to avoid trouble then you can, there are just far too many who wouldnt mind some.

If you were being targeted then fair enough, you defend yourselves. But fans who went looking for it are pathetic.
The togetherness of our fanbase is what got me hooked on Cardiff City back in the Ninian Park days. I loved the banter with opposition fans on match days when I was a kid and I still do now, it makes the whole experience better. But to fight over it is just pathetic. We're all football fans at the end of the day and we all go because we love the sport and supporting our team.

Nanny McPhail or whatever his name is wanted to meet me because I called him a prick for a valid reason, and he got mad. He insisted I told him where I sat, so I did, and then he didn't respond. That's hardly "arranging to meet other posters for a fight".
