What score do your club get in the food guide tubs now it's law in Wales 0-5 ?

The Premier club members were given privileges to join and provided equally valuable revenue which helped fund the stadium build via a shortfall funding scheme. Ticket allocations have not been an issue up until now and the same rules have existed since the stadium opened. The travel Club members have been well looked after so why does one section try to make something out of a non issue.

Steve, I agree money talks, but that in my opinion does not show loyalty. I earned my right to go to any of the away games, by attending other away games in person and not just buying the right.
But in truth thats how the world works in all areas of life and this happens at prob all football clubs.

I agree money does talk.Thats why the average age of premiership fans is about 42.Youngsters are being priced out of the market. The pubs that show city away games are full of youngsters that used to travel but could not afford season tickets, so have been excluded for many games this season. At home games I dont see the gangs of youths on the train or in the pubs anymore, I think its something clubs need to look at. :ayatollah:

Annis a trip around the Premier club and you would be surprised at the faces you would see. 90 percent have been there from the start and like you have all earned their right through following the club over the years. It's not occupied by big business types and banks entertaining clients like other clubs. They are true city types who helped the club out in a type of need so Carls dig was unnecessary. On most away games we have gone through the qualifying criteria and still had tickets for general sale. Chelsea was a one off and done for the right reason. I think Carl should reconsider his claims

Re: THIS IS NOT FAIR AND SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING

So do we know how many of these premier members qualify for tickets? I agree that they should have some perks for shelling out a lot of money up front but surely for a game like Swansea with such a limited amount of tickets this should be held back? I have done 8 aways this season & can now potentially miss out on the big game I want to go to.

I can't really see how people can say that this is a non issue - it is quite easy to say that when you are in a position to be more or less guaranteed a ticket to the game. Such a shame not all of us have thousands of pounds to waste to sit in comfy seats & we are living on the breadline instead - but that is not a dig and it is what it is. I just really hope I don't miss out on a ticket for this game :ayatollah:

Who the hell would want to go to Swansea away on a bubble trip anyway ! I'll never go on another one again. The pubs and clubs in the Valleys will be rammed with Cardiff fans, old and new. There'll be a far better atmosphere in the boozers than there will be in the away end at the Liberty.

Guys

The allocation for Premier members for away games is small. It really is not an issue. Carl has stirred when its not necessary. Does he stir because Premier Members have not received all the benefits which are in there contract even though they have not? This non issue clearly just suits one of his many agendas. And Daya, why not go stir at WHU. you have admitted that you are not a Cardiff fan.

Stop making yourself look stupid.

Firstly I was agreeing regards the Premier Club as I was a member.

Secondly I was having then a bit of banter with a pal.

So not " shit stirring " as you call it.

Thirdly this forum is advertised as a forum for all fans not exclusive to franchise fans .

So instead of preaching bollocks - do one dumbo.

Carl ,Annis,
As you know I have 8 Premier Packages on Level 3 , which I commited to for 5 years from the outset with joining and Annual Fees , that will cost a great deal over the 5 year period.
One of the major attractions of this package was to be able to get away tickets for games that I can attend.
I have done a couple with you this season , and I would love to go to the Swansea game away .
I have not been to 7 aways this season . But I have been to many many away games over the years.
Because of business commitments I often have to travel on weekends , actually I had to miss the Swansea game at Home , because I needed to be abroad.
My only chance now of seeing the City play Swansea in the Premier league Season is the away game.
Why should I not take up my entitlement ?
Best Regards,

Steve

Steve, I am not telling you not to take up your entitlement or never have told you not to, because any fan who is offered should take it. I just believe regarding the away tickets the Club should use the same system they use for season ticket holders to all fans, but if your offered more, I dont blame you for taking them,I would and as you know I would give them to fans Ive known for years. We are now 4 1/2 years into our contracts which state Premier Club members have priority to purchase away tickets, this was part of the clubs main USP's when getting us to sign up. Why are you only now questioning this????

because its only now an issue................for the record i qualify on both last year and this........

carl,

maybe some of the travel club will release how difficult it is for some fans to get tickets now when others get them first. I might be wrong but i think that's your real gripe here. that you cannot submit as many lists and qualifying people will have to go direct to the club.

i feel that the only way so far this season has been to go via buses in the travel club click and whilst grateful for the service provided by the provider i use. it is not fair to others. the norwich situation was a total shambles. i'd like to see all the tickets go online via e-ticketing so everyone has equal chance and can then book on the bus afterwards.

Steve, I have absolutely no gripe whatsoever with any premier club member having priority on away tickets, as we have always been informed that premier club has 5% of the away ticket allocation.

My only gripe was the amount of qualifying games being different to 'season ticket holders', the travel group has always been told that same restrictions are applied to premier club members as season ticket holders regarding the criteria for qualifying.

I have defended the club on its ticketing allocation policy many times on here and did so again in my original post on this thread, also I have defended premier club members previously on this board as there has been a notion among some fans that they are 'Johnny come latelys' where in fact they are some of our loyal supporters and regular travellers to away games.

I think you misunderstood my gripe it was certainly not aimed at the premier club members themselves.
