We've ended up with ONE point, scored two goals and conceded seven, it's just about as bad as it gets from a football point of view. For me the entire blame lies at the feet of Malky Makay, just because he throws a couple of fist pumps to the fans doesn't make him excused for the football we have been dished up, this is HIS team/squad, he has spent over £35 million bringing together players who in general are not comfortable with the ball at their feet, Medel looks a shadow of the player who first came to the club and is certainly not worth £11 million we paid for him, Odemwingie looks totally out of his depth, Whittingham has become a liability and as for Cornelius, the least said the better, £8 million and £45k a week later he looks like a league one player. Malky was financially backed by the owner of that there is no doubt and now OGS has to try and turn things around in an unforgiving transfer window where players are vastly over priced,( but then we are used to that) good luck ole, you're going to need it.
Excellent post. I think Cornelius will come good too, he's a different option to what we have at the moment. Ole has his work cut out to change, what still is, a Championship squad. In all this Malky worked the press excellently and has gained the moral high ground because of the hatred of VT because of the red. But, he got enough money to build a team that could survive in the Prem but didn't. I think he was naive enough to think that we were good enough, this only shows how unxperienced he is at this level. If we do go down, the blame must go down to Malky for his poor teambuilding over the summer. If we stay up it will be adown to Ole! But MM took us up I here you say! The way he was backed by Tan it would have been a crime if he hadn't!
I don't think thats fair, and just a tad contradictory.
You are saying its Malkys squad so if you go down its his fault....but if you stay up then its down to Solskjaer? I actually think Malky would have kept you up, the football was dire but you weren't easy to beat, and thats key in this league.
Now? Im not so sure. Solskjaer is a good manager but too much money, too much upheaval and too much meddling for me - its going to be tricky.
Castro ---- he's a deluded arm chair fan from Scotland , go easy on the old fool .

he actually signed 12 players..and inherited 15 who had represented our 1st team...........
over his time he signed 34..........only 6 of them started at newcastle..
34 players and ole has inherited a poor squad no two ways about this.
