I worked at the Queen of Hearts Club for my Father, Tiny was the manager in them days, rough place/rough town in them days.

The Double Diamond did well, but I was working in the Prince Wales, only ever worked there on a week day.

I think it was the Sunday night discos that ended the double diamond annis. So much trouble and fighting that I think the local residents and police got the license revoked.

The Cardiff Pig and Whistle was on the corner of Queen street and the turn to Queen street station in the 70's.

Was a fab place for a drink - turned very punk in 1976/7 - saw Hot chocolate in the old capital stage :) and to my eternal embarrassment went with a group of girls to watch Bay city rollers WTF ?????

Still - good times, good days.
