Will be a lot closer, it's Ole's first Prem game as a manager, so I'm guessing 2-0

With the latest West Ham result in mind, and Allardyce's press statements, I wouldn't be at all surprised if a part of the tactic they will employ in this game will be to provoke the Cardiff players into getting carded a lot. So if there are any hotheads in the Cardiff squad, that'll be a weakness I'd suspect they will want to exploit.
In addition to trying to instill a sense of overconfidence in the Cardiff team. At least that seems logical based on the 'ammers last few games.
Idle speculation of course, and hopefully speculation that will be proven wrong.

Cardiff v West Ham
Kick off: Saturday, 3pm
Tickets
Odds: West Ham: 10/3; Cardiff: 18/19; Draw: 5/2
History of meetings: West Ham won - 30; Cardiff won - 11; Draw - 16
It's been a tough week for West Ham but manager Sam Allardyce is determined his side will fight back in Wales this week.
Humblings at Nottingham Forest and Manchester City resulted in a combined cup score of 11-0 and has left Big Sam under intense pressure.
It led to him to email fans demanding a response from his players.
"We've got to be man enough to take it on the chin and be determined enough to show people that what they think at this particular moment in time is wrong," he said.
"You either come out fighting or you sink and die. I come out fighting as a manager and my staff and players are the same."
But the fans are left wondering how long the boss has left in charge. The result in Cardiff may decide that.

The norwegian premier league broadcaster was supposed to show Tottenham - Crystal Palace today, but have negotiated with the FA and they are now going to show the Cardiff match (angering quite a few spurs fans in the process).
Can't wait for the match to start!

That went over the line, how was that not given?

It obviously didn't though, otherwise the goal technology would have signalled a goal
Sat Jan 11, 2014 3:43 pm
Well they did the Vid after and it was a goal, ref gave the foul for Frazier on the GK, but the goal was before that. Looks like we been robbed.
CBs AWOL for West Ham goal, both tried to play offside trap and it was clearly well on side, Cole has easy side foot in.....

Perhaps they didn't switch the goal line tech on or it didn't pick it up? Its not infallible is it?

Not sure, ref gave the foul so going to have to see on MOTD. NBC commentators are confused also agreeing it should of been 1-0 to Cardiff
Sat Jan 11, 2014 3:53 pm
not a goal. the entire ball wasnt over the line.
lets see a better second half! build on the good attacking display
Sat Jan 11, 2014 3:58 pm
This is why I never say we're gonna win.

Ball no where near all over the line after seeing technology replay. Can even tell by angle of ball coming off bar.
Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:30 pm

Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:30 pm

Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:38 pm
This is good! Complete dominance and a red card to top it off. Go, go, go bluebirds!
Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:43 pm
were in big trouble
Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:51 pm
63-37 in possession now to Cardiff. 15-9 in shots, 5-2 in shots on target. Cardiff have a pass complation rate of 84 % vs 69 % for West Ham. 11-10 in players on the pitch. Cardiff is "leading" the stats.
But what's the use in that?
Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:55 pm
Cardiff really deserves some points..
