I know I'm in the minority here because of what happened in the summer and his old man beeing a bit of a tosspot, but I'd have loved for him to have signed for us

Think we need players who want to be here and who will give us 100%. I don't think Ince falls into this category, I think he's the sort of player who would always put himself first, and the team second. Routledge was the same, money and himself more important than the team. Personally, I prefer players like Andy Legg, maybe not as gifted, but will run themselves into the ground for the benefit of the team.

Totally agree on players giving 100%, and we wouldn't tolerate anything less as fans would we? I think Tom Ince would be a huge success here and I'm sure he'd give it everything too.

some players just need to find the right club. Routledge has been superb since signing for us and his attitude been top class. andy legg over routledge :laughing6:

I know the point Mark is making, Leggy was a fantastic player who always gave everything on the pitch which you can't deny. Routledge is one of those flair type of players and good sides have the right balance of both I reckon.
