personally id sneak a card in under my jumper but one of the supporters group/Annis could probably advise if the club would try to stop you.
More likely the club woul arrange a counter measure like putting out red cards on every seat!

That's my concern, if the club get wind of this, will they prevent people bringing them in (I mean they stopped plenty of banners and signs coming in over the last few weeks). It would be pretty easy of hide a piece of card of course and I'd be willing to get in one in past the stewards but I think many fans would be apprehensive about deceiving the stewards and sneaking the card past them.

Assuming there are no issues. What game would this be done at, I'd assume the next game that's on TV would be best.

Would the club let fans take these cards into the stadium?

i dont see the counter m,easure............it would in effect be asking fans to vote..........with an almost certain result

Unfortunately, even if it was done every game it still wouldn't change VT's stance as he bought a club to change to red with a dragon, he didn't buy into football. He just wanted to advertise his RED DRAGON RIDE IN THE BIGGEST SHOPPING MALL IN THE WORLD, WHICH WAS BEING BUILT BEFORE HE EVEN THOUGHT OF BUYING A FOOTBALL CLUB. Read the post 'Why VT will never change the colour back to blue.'

Not with that attitude mate!
Well even if VT doesn't change it the next man will and il keep it blue untill then. I think this is a great idea won't be at wesstham but at most home games and will donate!
We should do it at a big away game too - less cards needed and I'm sure 99% of the away support will hold one up. LOYAL SUPPORTERS :ayatollah:

As well as sneaking them in individualy a few people could take bulk and pass them out at the bar and in the stands

Re: ' Blue Card Appeal '

Thu Jan 09, 2014 8:39 pm

Should be done at every game home and away until were back in blue.

Best idea yet. Wish we could get it going on Saturday.

I have looked at the games and the only one coming up on TV is the jacks (away). I thibk Hull City could be a possibility as they are going through their own problems also.

COME ON CITY, LETS TURN OUR STADIUM BLUE TODAY AND EVERY OTHER GAME.

I will be around to collect money if anybody wants to donate for the blue card.

I know I'm a pain but we need to stand up and defend our identity. Nobody else will.

I will also be looking for fellow bluebirds to help hand the cards out if anybody is willing to help.

Id kove it if they put out red cards too because then it would be an official vote, and blue would obviously win. I really think tan thinks most of the fans like the red. The blue cards are a great idea that may inform him this isnt the case. well done ill make you a donation

Sorry to be so negative about this idea but do you realise how many people it is going to take for you to distribute 10,000-15,000 peices of card to people?
How many people have you got in mind who are willing to stand around to pass some card out to fans walking by?

Don't get me wrong, I think showing blue card at home games is an excellent idea and an ideal way how to get our feelings of our blue across... However, I just don't see how you are going to get 15-20 people (example) to stand around to give fellow supporters card.

If you pull this off then excellent - It is certainly worth a shot. Hats off to you for the attempt!

As baker said you won't get the fans you need to pull it off, waste of time and health and safety won't allow it

With due respect , if you are having trouble raising the money I think your even bigger task is giving em all away. I wish you all the best though I really do. :sad7:

Keep going, there is no rush. £60 is not much people just need to give a 50p each!

You need to up your game though mate, you need a poster made to raise awareness (but dont name the game as the club will try and block it). If your serious you should get something going on Facebook and Twitter too. Let everyone know about it

As for giving them out I think you would find enough fans on here that would turn up at 2.30 to help you out.
