Both Nyland and Daehli is great, great signings. Wolff Eikrem and Diouf are also interesting players, and i guess Ole is brining in players that are both cheap and that respects him.

How about begovic I'm sure he's scandinavian

He's American/Bosnian.

Yepp. Nyland is not only a great talent, but a great athlete and a model professional. Ole has described him as a "big game player".

Won the league, won the FA Cup on penalties by 29-28. Liberty gets turned into a Malay Curry house by Vinny T himself

Jo Inge Berget (contract expires in the summer) is mentioned, but frankly i doubt it. He isnt good enough at the moment.

Stefan Johansen (linked with AC Milan in august) is promising, but i doubt it now that Ole has signed Eikrem. Similar players.

Norways most promising players are Daehli and Nyland, so you are on the right track;)

You most be Nyland's mother to Write something like that. He is not even close to the talent of players like Vajebah Sakor (Juventus).

Nyland is a norwegian international, Sakor is a youth player. Sakor is a without a doubt a great talent, but Nyland is already a class player at a high level.

Not so much of a priority. Caulker would get in any Premier team, Turner has been pretty good, Hudson back up, KTC also played CB quite often, and Connolly behind that, never mind Nugent.

A creative/ holding midfielder was most important

Gutted we missed out on Lewandowski to Bayern, can't win them all.
Hope Mutch keeps his place after this transfer window.
Didn't think we needed another keeper.

I did ask and the answer was there is interest from us but at this stage they are more confident in bringing the four named above in.

That could change in an instant obviously but as we were about an hour ago that was the situation.

What's your opinion on Diouf? I'm not so impressed :|

Have you see his record at Hannover? The bundelsiga is one of the top leagues in Europe now. He's developed into a top striker now and it just goes to show that it takes time for players to show their potential.

When Newcastle signed Papiss Cisse from Freiburg about 2 years ago this month, I remember Alan Pardew/John Carver saying that the reason that the club had bought him was because they'd looked at the Bundesliga and realised that he would likely prosper in the Premier League because of the similar high-tempo game that exists in this country. Of course, he really did hit the ground running and they were still in contention for fourth place on the last day of the season, but they missed out, of course.

I do have reservations about signing Diouf given that I vaguely remember him playing at United and at Blackburn, and recall that he didn't exactly set the world alight during his time at both clubs. However, if we do sign him, and in view of his record over in Germany, then he deserves a fair crack of the whip.

I was just about to mention Cisse's signing. I'd be happy with signing Diouf. Has all the attributes to make a decent Prem striker.

Nugent no, like watching a slow version of Turner lucky if he could get in a 2nd division team

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW SIGNINGS

Mon Jan 06, 2014 10:50 pm

Diouf will be such a good f*cking signing. He would easily be the most proven and best striker in the side and if Maynard is to go then he is the perfect replacement. Diouf, Campbell, Odemwingie and Cornelius is a decent strike force I think.

CB and LB is the key though. Buttner is poor at LB but honestly he's such an improvement over what we have and offers a lot in attack and I could see him and Noone forming a good partnership. That CB though, get on it. The quicker I don't see that sack of shit Turner in the starting XI the better.

You're f*cking joking if you think Turner has been pretty good. He's been abysmal and is one of the main reasons we've been conceding. He can't mark for shit and it's been costing us.

Didn't mark Negredo so City scored and nearly came back to get a draw.
Didn't mark Fletcher so Sunderland scored then you know what happened next.
Didn't mark Sagna so Marshall had to clear which then went to Bendtner.
Didn't mark Walcott who then scored.

Those are just ones from the top of my head, and I know there's been more. He's a liability to the team and one good tackle every other game is not enough to warrant his place in the side. Hudson should play with Caulker, and I don't even give a shit if they play with the same foot, they're miles ahead of Turner.

Two years ago he was playing for a lower league Norwegian team and has made tons of progress, now he's starting for Molde, putting one of the national team goalies on the bench for most of last season. He told a Norwegian newspaper he hasn't heard from Cardiff City or Solskjær and that his focus is on winning the league and cup for Molde right now. In other words, I doubt they'll sign him any time soon, but you never know... He says he dreams about PL.

Kim lost Sagna, 6' 4" centre backs don't usually mark short arse full backs!
