just looks a wrong un to me whose big wages and transfer have gone to his head.

That's such a Malky way of seeing things. If they've got attitude then they're not right for the team. A good manage should be able to nurture players with said attitude and demand respect and that is a fact. Ronaldo had bags of attitude and multiple managers got the best out of him. Ferguson mainly nurtured him into the player he is today. Lallana has loads of attitude but still, their foreign manager has got him playing great football and he is one of the main catalysts in them doing so well this year.

People need to stop assuming all players with attitude or players who mouth off are not worth while to the team. Warnock got the best out of Taarabt to get them promoted in the Championship as well. Some managers just need to grow a pair and do the job they were set out of to do and realise its their job to manage and that includes man manage, teach, bring belief to even the most challenging of characters etc.

There's not team in the entire league that doesn't have a player with a bad attitude, a different outlook and so on because thats life and people are different. Teams, top teams, need these edgy players because these types are the types that beat themselves up over failure and they drive themselves to be the best and to succeed and become recognised and talked about because they want the validation from people.

Now, if you're talking about the likes of Joey Barton, thats completely different. He doesn't have an attitude. His proven record proves he's just a knob. Players with attitude can be nurtured and the best can be got from them. Players who are insistent on being knobs are too much of a risk. Zaha has attitude and you could say his diving or theatrics at times are a joke but he hasn't done anything bad at all that says he's too much of a risk.

If Ole is a good manager, as I think he is, a true motivator who is respected, then I think he will get the best out of Zaha. I also think the 2 players who have come straight to join him also proves how much he is respected and how much of a likeable person he is. He will be listened to and his words will be taken on board because of who he is, what he's done at both playing level and managerial level and how he is portrayed with a good image.

James
with respect you never saw ronaldo pissed up and smoking in night clubs and he has as you say always been a model proffesional.
It would seem with zaha at the moment he is spending more time in nightclubs and bars than he does on the pitch. I have a business colleague who has a box at old trafford and he seems to think the heirachy are concerned he is taking the ravel morrison route as oppossed to the ronaldo route.
who knows if he comes perhaps ole will get him back on the rails but personally i wont be dissapointed if he dosent come.

I understand your reservations Steve.

Others like Rooney and Zidane smoke though. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 59127.html

The problem is, like you've said, how he responds to guidance. If he responds in the Morrison way then Ole should send him back due to unprofessionalism. These are things that should be factored in before negotiating a loan deal. I'd be happy for us to give him a chance and an opportunity here and getting away from Manchester may be just what he needs. Also, going from Manchester to Cardiff, a fringe club in a relegation battle, may just give him the kick up the backside and wake up call he needs to see the direction his career is heading.

Andy Carroll is proof of how it can go bad when you're not willing to listen and would rather maintain that lifestyle so its down to Zaha and if Ole can get the best out of him. He may be someone who just doesn't listen but lets not write him off before he comes, if he comes.

Also, thank you for responding in a respectable tone rather than a rant.

thanks James

its all about opinions and we are all entitled to them and the board would be a better place if it did not descend into some of the childish rants we do see on here and people respected each others opinions and respond accordingly

Brighton vs crystal palace. 13th may 2013.

You didn't ask for a long list, you asked for games he's played well which I have answered.

Disagree with you on the second one. Drifted in and out for most of it. Pretty average

He scored 2 goals and won the game. What more was expected of him?

Listen just log off, your heads gone.

He's definitely not worth the 15million paid for him but he's worth a look on loan. Our squad is poor in terms of strength in depth and another player with potential will not harm. If he doesn't prove to be worth it we wouldn't have paid much and may be able to send him back.

If he turns out to do well then we will have an exciting attack minded winger who wants to take people on. Just give him a chance if he does come

Tony Pulis on Talksport this morning was questioned on the possibility of Zaha returning Palace on loan, he said Moyes doesn't want him back in London so it does look in our favour. He'd be a fantastic loan signing, direct, quick and skilfull.

Zaha would be a great deal, 100%
I don't think he's ronaldo but i do think he's better than what we currently have! We actually have no one/noone! Lol. Bellamy is a great player but he ain't got the legs to be playing 90 mins week in week out. I think in terms of value for money then we aren't going to sign anyone better than Zaha. Why fork out 5-10 Million on someone when he could do the job for nothing?
