Have patience with him. I'm sure you will derive great pleasure from Dæhli' skills. Too bad he is leaving my Molde FK though.

Mats M. Dæhlie has landed in Cardiff and is according to norwegian newspaper Dagbladet ready to join the team. Only the medical check is needed before it's official. He is staying at The Vale resort together with Solskjær, Hartis, Eikrem, Dempsey and John Vik (new chief scout).

Watching the youtube footage of him, he looks like a mixture of Jonny Williams and Chris Burke. Not a bad combination.
Exciting times.

Just read this, so he sounds even better than you thought!

Hailed as one of Norway’s most naturally gifted players for a decade he has been described as a mix between Lionel Messi and Xavi due to his style. Already capped at Under-17 level by Norway, there are great expectations on the young Norwegian. Signing for Manchester United in 2011 he rejected the advances from Ajax and Bayern Munich and what was even more surprising about the move to Old Trafford is that the talented teenager had only months before signed for Premier League side Stabaek from FC Lyn. With excellent movement, vision and range of passing, Daehli signed his first professional deal in March after turning 17. The Oslo born teenager enjoyed an impressive Milk Cup campaign and is part of the academy side hoping to retain the club’s FA Youth Cup. He has already featured at reserve level for the Red Devils when he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat to West Brom.

Exciting stuff, sounds like he could be a decent squad addition, we've got some promising young players in Harris, John, the Dane and now maybe matts!

Judging by the clips we've got a real player on our hands. Reminds me a lot of Modric and Christian Erickson, a real play maker. :ayatollah:

Good player with great ball handling skills and vision. Dæhli was awarded Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year in Manchester United 2011/2012. He hasn't been producing many goals/assists so far, but he's only 18 and has incredible potential. 2 million pounds seems very reasonable to me.

Too small for BPL. but hopefully he can adapt as fast as he can.
Can't wait for the weekend!

Imagine this for a midfield

Noone. Mutch/eikrem Zaha

Kim. Daehli.

Obviously way too attacking but the technique of daehli and Kim and the drive of the other three would overload the best of teams IMO.....

In that case Carzola, Wiltshire, cleverley, Osman and Barnes are also too small.

Yeah.. As for Messi too.. Think of him in the PL... Way too small, not good enough for any team in the UK..
