I was a big fan of Malky and will be eternally grateful for what he did for the club. He'll go down as our most important manager in modern times. Unfortunate how things panned out and of course it should have been handled differently. Lets hope he gets the compensation he deserves

I don't understand why the majority of this forum have agendas though. Solskjaer will get my unconditional backing. He's manager of Cardiff City FC. Nothing else matters

The problem is, the more successful OGS is the less likely we'll go back to blue with tan in charge. He will see success as a vindication of his actions and soon we'll be arguing about the change in name. Logically a return to blue etc may be dependent on us performing badly.

Notice how fewer pro blue posts there are given the OGS optimism. The best option would be to have a more respectful owner. I can't help but feel more and more detached from the club, and success with the new manager is still going to be tarnished by the rebrand as was promotion.

A good point well made, say also that Malky became a weapon and a focal point for the back to blue brigade to beat up Tan with. The show of support, though well intended was probably the 2nd final nail in the coffin-the performance against Soton the final one. This leaves the back to blue campain rudderless at the moment IMO.

Fans used the malky situation as an excuse to attack tan over the rebrand, you can't blame malky for that.He knew the situation couldn't continue and so used the media to force tans hand.Good luck to him.

By hoping your manager slips up you're hoping the team slip up, what a disgraceful bunch of "fans" we could do without them

 as a outsider this is the way i see it.handled totally wrong but done now.massive respect for mm and what he achieved at the ccs.time to get behind ogs.
personally and i posted this a few days ago ,why does a return to blue campaign have to be linked with support for ogs?yes i can see if there is turmoil results wise it is easier to get the protests going but it doesnt have to be like that does it?there is nothing stopping blue marches, blue in the ground ,blue songs etc .the players and ogs know of the upset of the fans over the colour change.it wont affect them .i think you have a good un in ogs.time will tell but he deserves full support from the fans.ogs didnt sack malky or change you to red

What has left a really sour taste is that in malky's own battle with tan and desire to earn backing and sympathy from all quarters, he tried to make the name of cardiff city toxic. He tried to create an image of a club that no other manager would come to, and put ccfc at serious risk.
Wont forgive malky for that.
He thought he had become more important than the club.
Thankfully OGS saw that all is not as it seems through they eyes of an unbalanced and agenda-driven media.

You are f*cking brain dead.

truth hurts don't it

Not really as how is Mackay a slimeball. You'd probably sell your mother for a fiver.

no malky would seel his mum for a fiver.........and the likes of you would suck it all up saying it was a great deal

I agree - nothing is ever just black and white - I do think Malky used what he knows well and is suited to, the media, to get his best result from a difficult situation.

That said, he did contribute to said difficult situation.

Still a legend for me, top bloke and the best (for me) we've had since Jimmy Scoular :old:

No need to be calling him names - other than Mr Mackay, perhaps
