people have short memories.

Far from perfect but Jones was a fantastic manager for this club.

I still blame Bothroyd for us not beating Blackpool in the playoff final, though of course anything could have happened.

Bothroyd. One of DJ's striker signings. Chopra and McCormack another two. That makes three which is two better strikers than Malky bought.

Depends on whether OGS can get more out of what is essentially Malky's side.If he does,Malky's reputation will nosedive.

Annis you say DJ failed but if he was given the amount of money that Tan gave Malky he would have taken us up for sure. He had very little money to use and still made better signings than Malky did. He was attacked on here as a man and as a manager time and time again.

Thank you DJ for being the best manage we had ever had and putting in place a building block for Tan to invest in.

He will have the last laugh when he gets his money and good on Malky :malky:

Yes, I'm afraid my original belief that Malky 'engineered' his way out of a the club once he knew the writing was on the wall, so to speak, was a correct one :(

My only remaining question is :"Did he use the (loyal) fans to "get the job done"? :?

As much as I wanted Malky to stay, I am beginning to believe he (and/or his agent) did :(

I guess that "football" these days, but I would hate to think Malky wasn't as sincere as we originally thought and that I am wrong in my conclusions

Sven,
as much as none of us want to believe it I'm afraid that MM was using the fans against Tan at the expense of CCFC.
Admire him for what he did in taking us up etc but majorly pissed off by his final actions.
Increasingly I believe he had been sussed and was scheming an exit.
Very sad.

what a load of bollocks, bet you love a conspiracy theory, go and search for some ufo's you nob

As well as being an objectionable little shit you are I am afraid more than a little naive.
