Who lost 2-0 away at West Ham?

Who lost 2-0 at home in the play-offs vs West Ham, who lost 3-0 at home in the play-offs vs West Ham?

love how when we won at newcastle people were saying he was the right man and as soon as we lose 1 game he is a terrible manager and we shouldn't of signed him. Jesus Christ people these days. Give the man a chance. I'd rather have him then mark hughes or tony pulis

he will take you down. Malky would have kept you up.

Malky would have sent us down with no f*cking foundations except hoofball to an average Fraizer Campbell, passion and 'determination' wouldn't have kept us up, we were f*cking dreadful under him

Before Malky got sacked, were above the relegation zone, taking points against teams around us. OGS takes over and we drop in the relegation zone. Says it all! Wish Malky was still our manager.

I have to agree. When you consider how good we were at home under Malky, winning our first 10 home games last season, beating Man City, Swansea and West Brom at home this season plus getting draws against Man Utd and Everton; you would have to think we would have done a lot better than taking just 1 point at home against Sunderland and West Ham. I personally thought we were far too open from the start today, which wouldn't have happened under Malky and it was no surprise we conceded an early goal (with a huge assist by the dreadful referee, he had plenty of time to duck out of the way of the ball!)

However, it's not Ole's fault Tan made the ridiculous decision to sack Malky. Ole is trying to bring his own players in to play the game his way. Today was disappointing and we may as well write the rest of this month off as far as I'm concerned, but hopefully Ole can bring in the players he wants and use the Man City and Man Utd games to allow his new signings to bed in. February is going to be a huge month for us and it will be the month that decides whether we stay up or go down in my opinion. We must get behind Ole and the team now.

What losing to Palace, f*cking FIST PUMPING a 0-0 draw with Stoke? Allowing Norwich to have 30 shots on goal against us? Yes, f*cking brilliant

They were all away games. Any point away is a bonus and it's home form that's key. We beat Swansea and West Brom at home under Malky who will probably both be bottom half at the end of the season. The rest of our home games under Malky were against 5 of the top 6 teams last season, plus Newcastle and Southampton who are also both in the top half.

Malky made us very difficult to beat at home and that would have kept us up in my opinion. Since Malky got sacked, we have thrown away a lead against bottom of the league Sunderland and lost to West Ham today. You would have to think we would have done better than just 1 point from those two home games with Malky in charge surely?

I think we have to give Ole time but a couple of concerns:

1.Picked Whittingham and Odemwingie - poor judgement.
2.Why do a Malky and take Medel off? Our only midfielder who can tackle.
3. Taking Hudson off was a mistake, particularly without Medel. We were leaving ourselves open to the counter attack and we were exposed in defence.
On a positive note Eikrem looks quality and I hope he replaces Whittingham.

Early days but a trifle concerned none the less.

On point 1. he had no choice we have no other options due to the fact Malky failed to bring in players. He had to play Odemwingie wide as we dont have another winger, Whitts only played as Eikrem had only just joined and again we had no one else.

I highly doubt Whitts and Odemwigie will start again for us in the league

Point 3. Is just stupid, taking Hudson off was a top idea, going all out attack at 1-0 against 10 men, why have 4 at the back when west ham were just sitting back, yes they scored again but that was in xtra time the game was in winnable.

Not stupid at all Bobby! At 1-0 you got a chance at 2-0 you got none. We have no tacklers in midfield without Medel and to lose a defender was suicide. I saw the second goal coming! The correct tactics would have been to have taken Whittingham off who was shite all game, put on a striker and keep Medel on as cover when we are up the other end attacking.

How do you get experience?
Sir Alex at one point had no Experience.

You have to start somewhere. :laughing6:
