Funny thing is, shirt colour and badge aside, Tan has done nothing different to some other much praised foreign owners.

What about answering my question Barry, do you honestly think deep down that we will find another owner who will buy out Tan if we go down to the championship?

But in order for us to be relegated to the Championship/League one/League two we need to lose games. So you want us to lose games.

You've misunderstood what I meant.

I said I'd prefer being in The Championship/League One/League Two over the Premier League if it meant that we were in blue again. Do I want us to get relegated? No, because I want us to win every game, like a supporter should. But if we were relegated and we returned back to blue, I would be happier than I am about being in the Premier League in red.

To break it down...

Do I want us to be in the Championship? No.
Do I want us to be in blue? Yes.
Do I want us to be in the Premier League? Yes.
Do I want us to be in red? No.

What do I care more about, being in blue or being in the Premier League? Being in blue.
What do I care less about, being in the Championship (or lower) or being in red? Being in The Championship.

So in other words, identity means more to be than success.

Hopefully that makes it clearer.
