Sure I heard someone mention on talksport that perhaps the FA should get involved. The guys obviously barmy and by censoring fans, by ordering stewards to remove banners, he's obstructing free speech. Which, id like to echo, is more than a footballing issue.

I did stewarding years ago as a teenager, if I was ever told to chase that sort of banner down. I'd remove the bib and walk away.

Can see that chant catching on!
On a serious note though, surely that would be a possibility should people want to take it forward. I'm no legal professional but I'm sure obstructing our basic right of free speech is a criminal act?

And so you should. Fair enough if it had 'tans a lady boy' or something similar on the banner, the ones I seen today were all well mannered

If anyone knows what happened to the banner after half time I'd like to know cause I didn't see it after half time
Also I saw lots of stewards taking banners off other people which seemed a bit off cause I haven't heard the club saying anything about bringing banners so if anyone knows about that as well then say below

Pathetic, instead of getting behind the team they decided to chant about a wanky manager who is no longer here! I hope the stewards burnt that flag. I'm not pro tan but I don't understand this love in with wanky.
