Giving a manager unlimited funds to buy players with no questions asked is like giving a 16 year old an unlimited debit card to go shopping with FFS!!!
Totally un-professional on his part.
People have questioned the amount of money which are being paid to some of the players but surely if the club was in abidding war with other clubs to get these players then surely the agents done his job properly but for the club to sign off the cheques without asking questions then they must be held responsible over this and no-one else.

the difference might be that tan trusted the people below him to do what was asked.....we are not talking of 16 year old children but a man being paid a million a year.....

Did Tan make his billions then by trusting everyone who works under him do the right thing without any checks then..?
I would think he does, do you think he signs off every cheque for all his companies? I doubt it. He doesn't have to trust everyone but the manager and the head of recruitment are bug jobs so they should be trusted.
I don't think any new manager will be, a lesson learnt.
The manager and Head of Recruitment shouldn't be in charge of the clubs finances FFS!!!
They were in charge of a budget set to them by Tan which they overspent on.
I can see why Tan trusted them, seeing as he has no knowledge of football surely you would put faith in your manager who has been in the game for a long time. Yes, its very naive and he is partially to blame for putting that trust in Malky but Malky and Moody have alot to answer for how the money was spent
So surely if they overspent a transfer budget then who was the person signing off the cheques!!!!!
Moody according to the Daily Mail (who have been spot on all season) or Lim according to people on here. Up to you who you decide.
As I said both parties at fault and there is no excuses for Malky and Moody as some people are trying to do
Excatly so why isn't one of Tans men fired too then!!!! Classic case of 'passing the buck' by Tans side
You mean Simon Lim who is now no longer in charge of such dealings and Delhmat is now in charge. I think Tan has handled it quite well, however his handling of the Malky affair was shocking

From what I've read Tan did, this between him and Malky has been going on for months. You only have to see the clip after the man City result of Tan not wanting to shake Malky hand after the game.
