Whilst not being one of those who was overly concerned about the rebrand, I was very much with the majority of fans who were strongly against the way Malky was being treated.

This weekend was looking like a sad goodbye to the manager who took us up and has given us a fighting chance of staying in the top flight. However, yesterday's news has changed things.

Whilst I applaud the rebellion against VT on the weekend I would advise against it, as Mehmet Dalman also advised, during the festive fixtures.

This is the time to show VT that we liked his decision to not sack Malky, this is the time to show him a tiny bit of the adulation he could receive if he listened to the fans on other matters.

By all means continue chanting 'We'll always be blue' and 'Don't sack Mackay'. But please don't sing, 'Tan Out'.

The main reason I ask this is, even though we are in the PL, I am still not convinced we could make it without VT's millions and the guy is the guy who saved the club, despite the issues since.

Let's even try and think of a way to appreciate Tan's decision to not sack Malky, but also continuing to let him know that there is a way to go before we are singing his name in adulation, not rebellion.

You never know, he might enjoy the positive noise so much he is pushed in a positive direction about the colour.

Why is it I get the impression this softly softly approach to Tan is the biggest mistake we have ever made.

I understand your impression, sometimes I wonder but I always go back to the fact that his investment gave us certainty that the club would continue to survive in 2012 and saved us from extinction in 2012. The alternatives were by no means any better and most likely disastrous.

Delman has stood up to Tan over Malky, I am sure this isn't about his job. I imagine he is a rich man with other interests anyway.

I'm not saying we don't sign rebellious songs about the blue and Mackay, but don't sign 'Tan Out' is all I'm advising.

I totally agree and I am sure my posts have not given the exact impression I want. You have a right to your own opinion and to do what you want but this post is my advice as I am just concerned for the club's future.

I didn't have a problem with Tan but I do now, but I can see a bigger picture here.

I for one will be their boxing day chanting that Tan gets out of our club and will continue to do so unless Tan listens to the fans and returns our club to its rightful colours and actually starts taking what the fans want on board!!

Malky has done wonders for the club, and its Tan who has soured things and will never have the respect of ccfc fans .

As for the future I envisage Malky will move on to better things in terms of support from another clubs owner ...

Yes attempts are being made to settle things due to the public detestment of Mr Tan , which does little for his world wide image..

I like others will not rest til Tan is OUT................. and I will be protesting every opportunity...

Premier League, stadium improvements, new training facilities. It was most likely either that or administration/liquidation.

The future of the club is the important thing for me, the rest will work itself out in time. This is not the time and the Directors know it.

This is an opportunity to press home about our identity! You might not give a shit about the rebrand but most people do..

I'll be standing up for the club I love and therefore standing up for myself on Boxing Day.
