It certainly was 1-0 and yes you may get the double too. But as long as we finish mid table and you are in the relegation fight it doesn't really matter.

To some im sure it does. I said prior to the first one however that as long as we finish above you and get a mid table finish amd get to the last 32 of europe then im able to look at the bigger picture. Everybody loses.

Reading did the double over Liverpool, so what?

I know. But you dont get extra points for it being a derby. Its just for fans to rib eachother over bragging rights, however for me i would choose finishing the best team over all rather than the best over a game or two as i said at the start of the season.

If we were to finish below you and lose the derbies - that would hurt.

however to lose the derbies and finish above you in the league id be more than happy that we were indeed the better side.

There is still a good chance of the double and finishing above you, this would be the first double ever, it would be massive :ayatollah: :malky:

So far this season only three points better than us.
From what I have seen of your lot this season "IF" you do finish above us (and lets face it, you should having the benefit of two more seasons in the prem than us) I personally don't think it will be by much.

Not much chance in my mind of you finishing above us, which is why im not too bothered. Do that and ill agree you would have done exceptionally well and deservedly be called the better side.

Not strictly accurate. We are playing in more competitions than you, doesnt make us worse just more tired - which notoriously affects league form. We have 3 points more than you yes, however that doesnt mean you are only 3 points behind us in terms of quality as our quality has to be spread out reaching beyond the Premier League.

Tony.

When do you think you will get 2 or 3 mid table finishes back to back and qualify for the last 32 of Europe? Because thats where we are as a club now.

You are years and years off that for me, if you even get it all.

Our home games against bottom half teams
WBA 1 nil to the Capital
Swansea 1 nil to the Capital

Yours
Stoke (were bottom half when you played them) drew 3 all
Hull drew 1all
West Ham drew 0 all
Sunderland won 4 nil

So we've got the same points from 2 games as you have from 4, there is very little between us so far, I wouldn't be so confident if I were you
Your next few games Chelsea away, Villa Away, Man City home, Man U away.....

I love the way you constantly use my name like we know each other. Instead of being a slimy tumour who thinks creating 200 different usernames on a football forum is sane why don't you have the balls to tell people who you are. Forget that, we know why

Anyway, we proved you're not that good already this season. We'll survive comfortably this season and as for the last 32 of a European tournament :laughing6:

You line up in the draw with other footballing giants as Chornomorets, Ludogorets and
Esbjerg . You're not going any further and it'll be a long time before you beat a third division side in a final again

I wouldn't need to ask for extra points, i haven't instigated any debate complaining about our lack of points. i understand that the trade off of being in Europe as history suggests is some tired performances in the Premier League. its a good trade off and not indicative of our quality at all, we are simply playing more games... 50% more - thats staggering.

As for points - Man Utd are 4 points ahead of Southampton, Man City are 4 pts ahead of Everton - both light years ahead of the other in terms of quality.

we do know eachother. We have been speaking for many a year. If you dont want people calling you by your name then why have it in your profile?

Creating 200 usernames is just as sane as someone banning someone 200 times for no reason as far as im concerned so cant apologise on that im afriad.

Anyway, we proved you're not that good already this season. We'll survive comfortably this season and as for the last 32 of a European tournament :laughing6:

did you prove Man City arent that good either? One off games mean nothing.

I notice you didnt answer the question. I havent asked about surviving. I have asked when do you feel you will finish mid table 2 or 3 times back to back while qualifying for the last 32 of Europe. That is how far behind i think you are - and i dont see you achieving that any time soon.

You line up in the draw with other footballing giants as Chornomorets, Ludogorets and
Esbjerg . You're not going any further and it'll be a long time before you beat a third division side in a final again

of course, their quality is off slightly due to the country they derive from - just as Cluj get into the champions league - we, however qualified from England beating European champions over two legs and current league leaders and then holders Liverpool in the process.

Enjoy watching your players and fans alike bottle your visit to the San Paolo

bottle it? Im fully aware of the gulf in quality between the sides and am not expecting to progress - it fills me with pride however that we are in a position to get smashed by Napoli.
