Complete rubbish. He changed his plans for the rebrand cancelling them and his 100 million investment and said he would seek alternative investment. A backlash from Cardiff fans wanting the investment got Tan to change his mind again.

Many articles are available with this one showing the two thirds of supporters polled backing the rebrand.

If that's really what you believe then you were one of the idiots at the time that got taken in by Tan and his games. If you believe if was read or dead then you need to have a quiet word with yourself

Tan leaked the rebrand, backlash as expected. Then said he would redraw the rebrand and implied he would like to find new investors, fans panic and beg for hero Tan not to plunge the club into administration. Tan wins and laughs at how easy it was

Suckers

I never once said red or dead wrt the rebrand. We were dead had Tan not invested in us initially that is a fact. At the time of the investment we had been stabilised but were still losing a million pounds a month. That is also a fact available in accounts filed. However HMRC were no longer at the door seeking to liquidate us. The 100 million pounds investment was offered with a rebrand. Fans went against it so the plans were dropped. Tan then said he would seek further investment from other sources. It's unlikely he would have found that so the future was uncertain and very likely we would have at the very least been uncompetitive in the championship. Not dead but future certainly not what came due to the investment that was given as promised by Tan. It's bought us a squad capable of holding its own in the premiership (despite Malky's mediocre signings) increase of capacity and improvement of training facilities. He has been a nob the last few weeks and treated Malky despicably but he was open and honest until recently. I stand by what I said your op was complete rubbish.

Keep convincing yourself that you massive bell end

Completely lost the debate so resort to name calling. Well done.

No it's just pointless conversing with someone with there head buried in Tans arse as much as yours is.

Quick question, if Tan said he was going to walk away from the club if there was any opposition to him changing the name to Cardiff Dragons, what would your opinion be then?

My head isn't up his arse I'm dealing in facts. What's next? Plastic? Only been going since we were good?

If he changed the name of the club I would no longer support what was formerly known as Cardiff City. My love is for Cardiff City not Tan, Malky or anyone else.

Piece by piece he is taking the club away from the fans until there won't be a Cardiff City, and it if we all rollover he'll make it happen a lot quicker

Homework? The red shirt thing was a joke. I actually own this season's blue one myself.

I like your posts. Its good to know there are still some people around with balls.

This crap being spouted about the reason we gave in to the nice Mr Tan and let him shag our wives was because otherwise we wouldn't have had this once in a lifetime's opportunity of seeing local Premiership football. I'm sure a lot of these people would have raised their voices similarly if it had been Newport County that was attracting Tan's interest other than Cardiff. The same people who slink off to watch the Jacks when the Blooooobirds play away! Premier obsessed you see; they just love their prawn sandwiches! I doubt many of these work in executive capacities otherwise they would realise you dont drop your drawers at the first opportunity with hard nosed businessmen like Tan otherwise they cut your legs from under you!

You talk of his taking the club away from us: read my post on another heading here ''hasta la victoria siempre'' for an idea of just how gut wrenching this could feasibly become if extraordinary circumstances allow; do you fancy supporting Kuala Lumpur Dragons FC?M
