As a Newport boy and a Rugby man, did he buy Newport Gwent Dragons

Well, this is about Cardiff City the club - the clue is in the opening post.

Not like you to worry about what the post is about before you start spouting your rubbish!

This is 100% correct ;)

Sir Terry Matthews has previously stated he will never invest in a football club (Cardiff City or otherwise) :(

There's a funny ( but true) sort about an American guy being told that the Ryder Cup was to be held in Wales in 2010

"Ah, Wales. I heard of that. My cousin went there and visited some ancient castles in some place called Cardiff"

"No sir, the Ryder Cup will be held in Newport..."

"New-pot? New-pot? Hell, I ain't never heard of no New-pot!" came the indignant reply!

Apparently, STM wasn't best pleased  :laughing6: :laughing6:

Sir Terry will not invest in anything unless there is a sizeable return on investment.. Fact
Plus hes not a football fan. These eastern owners buy clubs etc as a status symbol nothing else
