It is sad but In truth annis we all knew what was comming when the rebrand hit and WE ALL let it happen lets be fair, thats the sad truth
Ian, yes your right a few of us did and we said it then, but was shouted down all for Premiership glory, lost our pride/dignity and respect as a club.
I hate the red, hate the badge, hate what Tan is doing but let's be clear it's Tan who is the laughing stock not the Club or the fans. The fans have stuck by the Club because it is OUR Club and like marriage we are in for better or worse. Let's be honest, we were absolutely on our arse financially and therefore not really in a position to tell Tan to piss off. Plus, we had been so close to the promised land for so long in recent years most were prepared to take a chance on Tan. I don't think that equates to losing our pride or dignity. Tan is a madman, an idiot, a joke. None of that was clear when he first came in with the £6m to stave off the bailiffs and save our Club. If we had been a strong premiership club with lots of cash there is no doubt we would have told him where to go.![]()

What Cardiff City has given me I will be truly thankful for.
To many on this board it has brought great friendships and long memories through long support through thick and thin.
My fondness has grown through something quite different.
If I'm honest I never was a great follower of any type of sport however what Cardiff City did for me which I will be forever thankful was repair a fairly broken relationship with my dad.
My dad by the way has always been Cardiff bonkers!
I have never seen my old man so sickened by the state of his and now (eventually) my beloved Cardiff.
I always worry for any club being taken over by egotistical billionaire oil arcs or similar because they eventually get fed up with their new toy before moving on... There are many examples of this across Europe.
Cardiff City is not purely a business or a toy for a billionaire it is a football club which is adored, cherished and respected by its fans so the fact that the owner has quite simply no appreciation of this is almost criminal to those who have given their support over the years through thick and thin.
By the way annis my dad agrees Phil Dwyer is a legend.

Absolutely.
I may be working 4000 miles away at the moment but I am amazed that so many fans rolled over and let Tan screw them over by removing our identity.
Where was this level of outcry when the rebrand happened? People were seduced by the promise of money. Tan pimped off our identity and now we are reaping the reward for allowing him to do it.
Managers will come and go but our identity is more valuable that Malky or any other manager and that has been stolen from us.
Utter disgrace.
However, here's what I would be doing if I was in Cardiff - I would be organising a march to put pressure on Tan to restore our identity NOT keep Malky.
