For me - you'll be about 12th with 6/7 points more than us.

We are doing better this year. We are 10th, the same as we were at this point last year but find ourselves in the last 32 of european competition too.

If we finish 12th and you finish 7 points less than us then I assume you will be sewing football league patches to your jersey next season - again highlighting the difference. 7 points is massive in this league of only 20 teams - and thats not including the GD.

I'm confident we will stay up. :thumbright: & I also believe you aren't as good as you believe & we are far closer than any Jack would like to admit.. Which the table backs up - as does the most recent fixture between us.

I believe we are a top 10 quality side. Last year we finished 9th, we are currently 10th. Thats how good i believe we are and the table shows that. I haven't heard any other jack say different, why is that shameful to admit? :?

You are a relegation threatened team. If you think a mid table side thats never been in a dogfight regards as "close" then fair enough - i dont.

The league fixture showed nothing, unless of course you are also suggesting you are close to Man City too?

Its a nonsense argument concocted to combat another nonsense post by Paul, but Chuckles being the naughty boy he is - hes running with it knowing full well its a silly argument.

You are as close as most expected and are 17-1 to win on the weekend, something tells me that gap is about to widen.

Re: And so it seams

Tue Dec 17, 2013 1:05 pm

No it isn't. In my opinion our team are far closer than the likes of Paul would believe. This season, waddle predicted that you would qualify for Europe via league positions - doesn't look that way though. NJ had you lot down as blowing us out of the water. That hasn't happened either.

There have been many other jacks on here - spouting about how much better you are than us, yet when you had a chance to show it - you looked woeful.

Swansea are rather Jekell & Hyde this season. On occasions I've seen them & they've been absolutely brilliant... Yet on others, you've been dreadful.

Sadly for you, it's the latter that seems more common that then former in my eyes.

I fully expect you to be above us at the end of the season, but I don't expect it to be by much.

You cannot go around saying its a silly argument, just because you don't agree with it. Yes, the gap will widen this weekend - but it closed last weekend, both playing similar level teams too. If you're suggesting that the gap won't close again during the season, then I'm amazed.

Only get wider if you get better result than us! 100% will happen of course in your dreams?

you said we are far closer than most jacks would like to admit. Im telling you that most jacks understand we are a mid table quality side and most jacks expect you to go down or at least be in a dogfight. Thats how it looks so far with us being top 10 and you bottom 6.

There have been many other jacks on here - spouting about how much better you are than us, yet when you had a chance to show it - you looked woeful.

im sure they were winding you up rather than expressing genuine predictions. There is no reason to think we are anything other than mid table and is certainly not the feeling of most Swansea fans. The polls on planetswans will show you that with a far greater test subject than NJ, Paul and people who come on here for a wind up.

Swansea are rather Jekell & Hyde this season. On occasions I've seen them & they've been absolutely brilliant... Yet on others, you've been dreadful.

Agreed. However thats more to do with the influx in players, slight change in style and sheer amount of games. But we are top 10 and last 32 of europe. Thats excellent.

Sadly for you, it's the latter that seems more common that then former in my eyes. I fully expect you to be above us at the end of the season, but I don't expect it to be by much.

you just said 7 points above you, which as I have said with goal difference taken into consideration you would need to play an extra 7 games than the rest of the league in order to finish higher - that IS a lot.

You cannot go around saying its a silly argument, just because you don't agree with it. Yes, the gap will widen this weekend - but it closed last weekend, both playing similar level teams too. If you're suggesting that the gap won't close again during the season, then I'm amazed.

your argument (before it changed) was that you were better because you beat us. That is a silly argument and will happily say that to anyone at any time - its ridiculous. We beat WBA 2-0 away - Norwich are a team we struggle against year in year out, same as Everton in that respect.

I think its a fairly safe bet to say we will get a better result home to Everton than you will away to Liverpool. Even if its just increasing the goal difference.

I never said it was a certainty but its the most likely scenario isnt it. If not then id like to be your bookie.

Re: And so it seams

Tue Dec 17, 2013 1:16 pm

My opinion hasn't changed at all - the fact that we beat you & we are only 3 points behind you suggests we are closer than most Jacks would like to admit.

I'd you were as good as most of you say you are, you'd be on far more points than us & you should have beaten us... But you aren't.

Your original opinion was heavily based on us not beating you - which is obviously silly.

Most of us acknowledge we are a mid table side, how cant you understand this? We both agree we think you will finish about 7 points behind us. With us being mid table that puts you in real danger of relegation - THAT is what most jacks expect and so far (3 points after 16 games) its bang on course for that.

Man City would say they are better than you too, however the fact they lost to you wont change that. They are better than you, as are we - one off games do not come into it.

You are better than us, but not by much in my opinion. The table alludes to that and the fact that you lost to us also does.

Your opinion is that we are 7 points and superior goal difference apart come seasons end - thats a lot.

The fact we lost to you alludes to nothing - ask Aguero.

Of course not, I can guarantee that had you won.. Jacks on here would have used it to prove you are better than us. :thumbright:

Of course it doesn't alone, but allied to the fact that you are only 3 points ahead of us and hardly pulling up trees yourself, alludes to it greatly.

They may well have done, wouldn't make that point any more valid though when looked at it unbiasedly. Its a stupid argument - more to do with banter than an actual opinion.

The league shows its on course for a 7 point difference with better goal difference, thats a lot.

Im not quite sure what you are saying? Are you suggesting the fact you would need 7 or 8 games EXTRA to amass the points needed to topple us by a solitary point - constitutes close??!

Thats crazy.

Thats high praise indeed. That one username predicted most of this stuff months before it happened.

Some people cant see the wood for the trees. Thats what im here for. A perfect example is the thread the other day "Chairman backs Malky fully" and when everyone was celebrating such great news - i made the observation that the statement wasnt a backing at all but in fact the opposite, seeming almost as if it was paving the way for a "no more funds" statement.

Low and behold....

Funnily enough, was called a troll then too. People will learn soon im sure.

We are on an opinionated forum, you give yours, I give mine. Fair enough

Opinions are however like arseholes, we all have one but they all differ slightly.

I also have an opinion, you are obsessed by us.

My opinion could be incorrect but judging by the amount of time you spend on here I doubt it.

And notice that I haven't put you down or called you names like most do, I have just given you my opinion.

 why do you keep comparing swansea to man city!

What has Man City got to do with any of this. Man City are world class, swansea are just a mid-table team. There is not much between mid-table and relegation so theres not much of a gap if any between us.

Your only a poor run of form away from the scrap of your lives. Such an arrogant lot you jacks have become.

My word, someone really doesnt understand.

If you are using the theory "you didnt beat us by much (at all) so it means you arent that much better" then that theory goes for EVERYONE that doesnt beat you by much - that includes Man City. There is no comparison with Swansea to Man City anywhere, other than noting we both lost to you.

There is 7 or 8 points between relegation and mid table - as we have established you would need another 20% of the season in order to get that points tally - that IS A LOT.

Ill be a correct fool then
