Re: Vincent Tan tells Malky Mackay " No Money in January "

I don't like the way this is being handled, but I can see where Tan is coming from.

Can he trust Malky with big funds again after this supposed overspend and wasting millions on duds?

There has been a complete breakdown in trust between the owner and manager. This usually ends up in the manager being sacked but Tan doesn't want to have to pay out again to get rid and why should Malky resign.

The biggest loser her though is the football club and this battle can only harm our chances of survival.

Its sad to say but there is no way back for Malky now. Him an Tan need to agree a compensation package and go their separate ways so everyone can move on and we can focus on the task in hand - keeping this club in the premier league.

If the statement is true and there was a over spend then why would tan give him or any other manager money ,maybe there is no money to give ? Also I wonder if malky knew there's no money before he said he wanted new players and is playing a game ofpoker with tan

Goes to show without a shadow of a doubt that the mad emperor knows less than f**k all about football. We are now in deep shoite. I'm beginning to detest Malaysia and all it stands for.

Well "terrible conditions" is fairly subjective, there's a lot harder jobs around.
Forcing him to go to save any termination fee? It's hilarious, if I was Malky i would also dig in.

I think Malky will walk, as soon as another clubs chairman tips him a wink that they will take him he will leave, and why not, the running of our club is farcical.

and there is no voice to the fans on social media to ease our concerns as Mr Borley did, I might just bury my head in the sand and turn up to games without giving the politics a second thought, it will make your hair grey ffs.

I am happy with tans decision. Tan has spent enough money already, the books need to be balanced and throwing more money away is not the answer

seems that every time there's bad news, sly digs or (cough cough) misunderstandings, the one name that crops up is Simon Lim.

I can't believe how many people are calling for Tan Out or for Tan to change the colour back yet are also moaning co he refuses to spend more than £50m in the transfer market.

We got into financial trouble before for over spending, why do it again?
The club needs to be sustainable, not spending more than we can afford.

If Malky can't keep us up after spending that much (+£10m last season, highest spenders in championship) then he doesn't deserve to be in the prem.

But to come out in the press and state that you wont be spending a penny after your manager as stated he would like players in? surely he would have been better off telling MM that on the quiet rather that undermining him?

If the £15m was add-ons, It's no wonder Moody lost his job. Thats a lot of money to lose on extras, agents fees probably
But, as is always the case, we don't know the truth yet.

Don't understand how you can overspend when your boss is signing the cheques.

Very good point , well made . 50 mill is more than enough to keep a championship winning side up . other managers would give their right arm for money like that to be made available to them .

Agree with you ,no new money then malky needs to earn his money and ship a few players out that we've already wasted cash on and get some cash in ,it's called wheeling and dealing just like most managers

Exactly , Tan knew exactly how much money was being spent , if he wasn't happy with the amount we were spending he would of stopped a few transfers. I want Tan out now enough is enough

I suspect Lim is a Judas.

All part of the plan to undermine Malky. As you say far easier to have this discussion behind closed doors. It's not Tan's style though.

I find it f*cking laughable that the blame is put on Malky and Moody, when either Tan or that little worm Lim would have sanctioned any spending. How Lim has survived this is a joke but he's got his nose so far up Tans arse, it's impossible to get it out.

Re: Vincent Tan tells Malky Mackay " No Money in January "

Can't see why Tan is in the wrong here?

All he has done is respond to comments Malky made THROUGH THE MEDIA that were downright wrong.

I cannot imagine anyone on this forum would go to the local paper tomorrow and give them a story on what you want from your employers without talking to them???

Malky needs to remember the club, owner & fans are bigger than him sometimes and in the last 24 hours he's admitted Cornelius was a waste for our immediate aim and he's undermined his superiors - he's starting to really get on my nerves when you couple this with the crap we have to witness at Stoke & Palace
