We all know CB can be a stroppy git, but on his day he is one of the best players at the club. Must be something going on behind the scenes. As other people already said, we can't afford to keep paying his wages if he isn't going to play. I for one would be gutted to see him go, though. If he does leave. He is not management material yet, but could be the offensive coach some people have been calling for. (I mean 'offensive' as in attacking, not rude, lol).

It would be a real shame if Bellars ended his career here, under a cloud, if it is a case that he is having problems away from football rather than an injury, lets hope he can sort them out and at least get a couple more games for us and end the season in that way. If he is fit, I can't believe that he wouldnt feature in Malkys plans, however, as nothing concrete has been said regarding an injury, I fear his old problems may have surfaced again.

Malky has said all along that CB has had a hamstring problem, and because of his previous problems with his knees etc: he did not want to risk him, but there! that does not make such a good "STORY" as there is something going on behind the scenes, and bye the way, he had a fitness test Saturday which he did not pass, nearly but not quite

That's fair enough, if true. The reason I asked the original question, was that I hadn't seen or heard that info, as far back as Stoke, the noises coming from the club were that Bellars would be definately back for Palace and was not to be risked at Stoke, but possibly could have played, then he doesn't feature in the next 2 games at all. There seemed to be a lack of consistency in the information
