There was a far greater demand than that as has been shown by both the complaints on our board and on twitter to the vice chairman.

Hopefully they won't make the same mistake again.

Apparently 1000 were given back due to lack of interest, that's what I heard.

Out of curiosity, how many did you take to St Gallen?

You heard wrong.

We took the full 1, 000 allocation to St Gallen.

And lost :laughing5:

Also, notice how Norwich filled the seats that our club turned down. Theyr'e right up to the segregation. Just like Cardiff did with the tickets WBA turned down. Oh. hang on a minute! :laughing6:

Over 26k at ours yesterday jack.

Yes I know nanny. but thats not really the point is it? The point is that you had a block of 1000+ seats empty when your club knew many weeks ago would not be filled by travelling support. I know a few have said it's down to the commercial side of your club being run so badly, but i'm sorry, if thats true then people really need to lose their jobs as they have just cost your club £40k (approx) in lost revenue! Personally I dont think it is true and you just couldn't sell the tickets!

I think we just didn't sell out too. On the flip side,if you had a 28k stadium would you sell over 26k for West Brom? I think not.

No the opposite, because teams in Europe get more competitive games early in the season they usually do well at the start and fade the longer the season goes on.

We have a had a tough start at home and have only played two of the weaker teams at home, and beat them both, WBA and Swansea.

One nil to your Capital, that's two in a row, and the double is on this season, can't wait

Ps 400 away pathetic :laughing5:

Certainly not Nanny. But.................in our first season we would have come pretty damn close! It's interesting also that the away allocation at Norwich is 2500, so they were able to sell an extra 2100 tickets, yet you weren't able to sell a 1000 extra that became available. :?

I know a few boys who are season ticket holders who didn't go yesterday for whatever reason. But over 26k is not a bad effort as I see it.

Oh I want to beat you don't get me wrong and I was gutted to lose to you, but much like when we came up into the Championship, that first game meant far more to the newly promoted side than the established side, as both encounters showed :thumbright:

Hopefully that is something we will put right in the return game but we don't generally do well against hoofball teams that just park the bus and look for set pieces ;)

Oh, and because this site is generally comedy gold, not on purpose though of course :laughing6:

Why is it that teams who play to their strengths in playing the ball to their strikers to hold up and allow players to run on from there 'hoofball' teams. It's like saying Swansea play paint dry football, passing it to death. In the game of football you play to your strengths. If you can't get the better of a side and get outfought, it's not because it's hoofball. It's because you simply weren't good enough to compete on the day.

Your right. Thats why some on here need to realise that the South Wales public are a fickle bunch whether you support Cardiff or Swansea. We or you will never be able to draw any more than the crowds we currently get in this league on a regular basis however big you think you may be or think how small we are. :thumbright:

But thats the point Jinks - we have more goals and more points.

Never nice to lose a derby - but certainly meant more to your lot than ours, and it showed on the pitch. We were always likely to be above you come seasons end anyway and so far it seems like that is going to plan.

Both team being Welsh ,I would think we should want both teams to do well against the other english teams.

Ok when we play each other of course there should be banter and passion for our teams. But come on we are Welsh teams
Lets hope we do well, I would love to see Newport & Wrexham up there with us too.

It really wont.

If you are above us then maybe.... But as it stands we are top 10 and last 32 in Europe, whether we win one league match or not isnt really that important. I said prior to the season id take losing both games as long as we have a good league finish, finish above you and get past the group stages in Europe.

You could win both league games against us and still go down - bet you would swap them to stay up though. And thats the point.
