I agree with Sven ghali Cornelius hasn't been given a chance yet.
Lets reserve judgment on him until he's had a run in the side.He may yet prove a good signing and fire us into the premier next season.

Many fans wanted a more adventurous formation, today malky provided it. Craig Noone for me provided us with the biggest goal threat. His quality crossing warranted his starting place, Noone is a very direct player and when he's on the ball he gets the fans out of their seats.

Yet again Malky Mackay's team have bounced back after a disappointing performance last week.

Our defence deserved a clean sheet this afternoon, the back four were solid and Marshall"s wonder save in the second half was unbelievable.

Many fans asked for a change of formation and more adventurous approach and today Malky provided it.

Hopefully we'll see more of the same against Southampton and Sunderland at home.

That was a much better performance. We looked a lot better but I still think we could play at better. Too much hoofing BUT very encouraging.

The players put in 100%. I would like to have seen Cornelius on for the last 30 mins. Marshall was incredible. Coulker solid. Medel improved. With a new left back and a new centre half (or give Hudson a go instead of Turner) we should be fine.

I was glad to see Cowie left out though. I can't fault his efforts this season but he's just no good enough.

Great to see Noone start and take his chance, thought he put in some good crosses and fantastic he got the assist for Whitts great header.
But, Win or not I don't get taking off Campbell and replacing him with Maynard who is probably a couple of inches shorter when we are finally get some decent balls into the box?
Add in that Marshall kicked longer than normal than most games yesterday against two big centre backs (Olsen & McAuley), it just didn't add up. If Marshy didn't make that World class save, Malky would have been slated.
That's how fickle things are at present, pressure off for Liverpool now, hopefully Suarez gets sent off or picks up a twinge then who knows??

On what evidence are you saying he's not good enough for prem football?... A handful of sub appearances?... He's guna take time to settle in and malky has faith in odemwingy and campell, you won't be saying he's a waste if he starts netting for fun next year
