I haven't had the benefit of seeing the game, but from what you guys are saying it wasn't pretty.

I cannot understand the lack of consistency.

Against Manchester United the team looked like they were going to score for decent periods of the game.

Yet, with Stoke and now Crystal Palace we appear to be clueless.

Hate to say it, but I expect Tan will be spending money soon...just not on players in the transfer window.

Didn't go or watch any highlight due to doing some Christmas shopping but after watching last nights 'In The City' I really kind of just changed my opinion on Malky. Speaking about bedding in Cornelius was just a load of tosh. You don't pay 7.5 million for a 20 year old one hit wonder season striker and not chuck him straight in. If he has this so called potential then why bench him? He went over the odds for him and should of looked for a more experienced or bit more older striker around 25-30. Also you can't play a 5 man midfield with ours. They all have different qualities and you need to pick a formation that plays them to the best of their ability. Which would be Medel sitting on his own with Whitts in front of a 3 man midfield with KIM and someone else then Mutch in the CAM with Campbell on his own. That would be the best option if he wants to stick with one up top. Lumping a 5 man midfield with players like KIM and Mutch is beyond me.

It's sad to hear that we were that awful,
I hope that MM realises that we need to change things for West Brom and starting scoring goals , easier said than done I know but the desire we had in the Man City game and Swansea game seems to of completely gone,
I know they were two key home games and today was away but it's 11 v 11 and we were out thought and undone today and that ain't good enough against the second bottom team of our league,

Four home games coming up we must get wins cos our next 7 aways are the toughest we r gonna get

MARSHALL

KTC
CAULKER
HUDSON/lad from Uraguay?
JOHN

MEDEL

NOONE
KIMBO
ODEMWINGIE

CAMPBELL
CORNELIUS

BENCH: Lewis, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Mutch, Turner, Taylor, Bellamy

Hudson better I the ball than Turner.
John better going forward
MEDEL to sit in front of back 4
Noone provides service for A-Corn.
Peter doing it the other side - replaced by Bellers for last 30.
Kimbo to play the Whitts role but better distribution and won't get suckered into back 4 like Whitts.
Campbell feeding off and supporting A-Corn

I honestly believe Malky wants out, obviously will not resign for fear of losing his money so he is setting us up to fall so that Tan sacks him, Malky will take the money and go elsewhere.

the shit has hit the fan. most of the players we got, are not good enough to play in this league. turner. whitts. taylor. our forwards etc. and to think there was some people on here saying. the team we got up to the prem with were good enough

9 points out of 21 from sides in the bottom half. i will continue to back Malky but to get survival you have to be picking up points from these games and the problem is the consistency and the fact we can't seem to play football and seem to be scared to shoot against the sides around us.

No room for sentiment in the premiership.
We can't survive on what Malky has done in the past it's the now that counts.
Yes Malky has done us proud to get us in the prem BUT IN MY OPINION he just hasn't got what it takes to keep us up there. As many have said before he is to stubborn and will not change his tactics. Playing 1 up front is no good in this league unless we are playing the big teams when we need to defend all game.
We can't score goals playing 1 up front it's that simple.

Craig, Malky is still learning, He deserves our support, he has achieved greatness for our club in under 3yrs,I am not just backing him because he is good with our fans, I was very disappointed that Malky walked straight off at the end, without clapping etc us, but in some ways that shows how upset he is by todays performance.

Yes today we were all of the above, we could have scored in the first minute and who would have known what would have happened if we had.

I am lost for words and we did look clueless today but are some of these players good enough, today I believe Malky got it totally wrong but I also believe Malky felt let down by his team the way Malky stormed off at the end.

I am not going to single out any one player for criticism as I feel they all let Malky and the fans down today.

BUT am I going to turn on Malky ? No.

I still believe 100% in Malky and still believe he can do the job, I also believe now is not the time to turn on Malky and the team at matches, it was sad to hear some of our fans boo at the end because if they think that was bad they never went to Rochdale away and Carlisle.

I was told by a couple of players the camp was down this week and it looked that way today.

I am on the coach now and yes like I said I am speechless but the whole coach is sat in silence.

I will say it again, support Malky and he deserves our support this season no matter what, he took us up and he'll keep us up.

 :ayatollah: :malky:

Annis, Malky is responsible for this team. He has had the money to build and he has no excuse. That is how businesses work.

You have been saying that Tan wants Malky out. Well sadly Malky has given him the ammunition to sack him. While other teams seem to be getting a grip with this season we seem to be going backwards. When you look at our signings they are just worrying. Caulker perhaps is holding up but the rest are falling away. Even Medal is playing like we are still in the championship. His experience should be rubbing onto our survivors from the championship not the other way round. Lets not think about those signings we have hardly seen like Brayford and Cornelious because they remind us of previous seasons like Miller and Maynard. No Malkys signing have been on the whole not up to it.

If Malky is here for January I will be gobsmacked. Its becoming clear we need better to survive now. Can you see Tan giving Malky the money to strengthen. I can't.

Yes Ian, the buck stops with Malky , but we are not relegated and I believe he deserves the chance to turn things around and I believe Malky will. Hopefully Tan does not go ahead with what I believe he wants to do.

I'm with you 100% on this. We are one of the 8 worst teams in this league, but there are still 4 teams below us. Whenever we have had a bad performance in Malky's reign, we have always played well in the next home game. Let's hope he can do it again next week :malky:

Quote (Bakedalasker): "You have been saying that Tan wants Malky out. Well sadly Malky has given him the ammunition to sack him"

I like Malky and I hope he is given the chance to 'finish the job' :malky:

However, I have to concur with the quote from 'Bakedalasker' (above) and it brought to mind a very apt comment made by a certain Government Minister (Labour Party) a few years ago:

"After the events of this week, this could be a very good time to bury bad news!"

I hope not, but if ever Malky was in a 'weak' position regarding his (alleged) relationship with Tan, this is surely it
