Giroud last year was poor, Soldado (for £26m I believe) has been a disaster, so I'll reserve my judgement for a while. We're fortunate that we have other players who can step up to the plate and, despite injuries, we've still managed to be mid-table. Once our injuries clear and we're out of Europe I'm sure we will kick onwards and upwards. After today, can you say the same?

He's brought him in as the main goal scorer into a team who had a top scorer last year (in the Championship) with, I believe 8 goals. That's the difference! If Bony doesn't't score we still have players who can cut the mustard at this level. Do you? Campbell is being hailed as a world beater, but let's be honest, he couldn't even get into a poor Sunderland side.

Im more than happy with him. Took a while to settle and has hardly played 90 min in the league. But like a few others notably shelvey, canas and pouzeulo they are really starting to find their form and confidence. Thats the encouraging thing about our season, despite playing nowhere near our best and in a few games namely at your place , stoke first half and west ham where we were truly shocking we are still mid table and dont look in any trouble of relegation.
