your bang on the money there!
I agree with you both

Do you honestly believe Malky will welcome an appointment ? If I am wrong I will hold my hands up, but I dont think I am.
Weve needed a Director of football for the last 3/4 years or someone at our club who knows his football, not just Malky, funny were now going to get one.
Because it's all an elaborate conspiracy to get rid of Malky.

There is naturally a school of thought that suggests a DoF is there to undermine Malky. However I personally would like to subscribe to the belief that it will actually enhance us.
Those that know me on here knew that I had a lot of love and support for Sam. Tan Sri does have my support. I would prefer to play in blue but, given the bigger picture, he has my support and I know that he will take our club to the sort of level that us supporters could only have hoped for years ago. As for Malky what a guy we have in charge......
There have clearly been communication issues between various parties within the club and that has only served to create tension, both on and off the field, and it is for this reason that I believe an "Interim" level of management will serve us well. Not to take the place of Malky but to be the buffer that he needs to run the footballing side and secure our place within the Premiership.
At the same time he could also be the buffer for Tan Sri. A person to bounce ideas off - especially in relation to how football in the UK differs from normal businesses.

I believe the riddler could form a great relationship with MM, but I wouldn't let him pay the milkman
